Piaget Polo FortyFive Chronograph Watch + Video
Here is the beautiful and uncommonly sporty new Polo Chronograph from Piaget that debuted at SIHH this year. What I really like is this video from TheTimeTVwatches-dealer that has Piaget themselves casually discuss the watch. I love hearing that smooth French accent discuss this fine offering, from a fine watch company. Interestingly enough their primary focus, is my primary focus: ease of life with the watch. They aren't going on about the luxury of the watch, but rather the functions, comfort and overall quality. It is really refreshing to hear that (especially from Piaget) that them going on about how this watch "defines haute horology."You can tell that the new Polo Forty Five watch is something new for them. The first titanium Piaget watch, and certain the most sporty. As I have mentioned before, I think this is also the first Piaget watch to ever use a rubber strap. It is an evolution on the Polo theme, and we will see where the new direction takes Piaget. Another benefit of vide
Thinking of cutting an extra notch on my rubber strap
I have an rg44, and wear it on its tightest buckle notch. still comfortable to wear. However, it's a bit loose and can slide down my wrist enough that bending my hand all the way back makes the chrono pushers dig into the back of my hand. If I had just one more notch on the rubber strap would give it a perfect fit. Should I take an exacto knife to it and make a new hole myself? is there a shorter strap I can get? What do you guys think?
Newbie question
Hi Guys, I am new to this site and to Breitling. I recently purchased a Breitling Crono evolution (automatic) from a buddy of mine. He kept it in a watch winder when not wearing it. I wear it every day but I noticed the watch stops after a few days, this doesn't happen to my rolex which is automatic too. I wind it full when I first put it on...Not sure if the watch winder damaged the gears or if this is normal or it may just need to be serviced. Any thoughts? Thank you
Incoming Vintage Mark II
Love the shape. Amazing condition for a watch from the 70s recent omega service and replacement bracelet helps I guess. Something special about vintage Omega- love it!
Dual Incoming - Advice Requested!
TL;DR - Bought my fiancee a DJ36 (116234, MOP) and myself a 116613LB. I had to order the DJ36, so they're holding my bluesy in the safe until hers arrives as it is a gift for her. Need advice on how to gift it to her!Long Story...About 6 weeks ago I got the itch to celebrate a milestone in my career and bought a DJ41. At the time I was debating between a DJ41, Sub-Date, and Bluesy. I went with the DJ41 because I already owned a Breitling sports model and felt the DJ41 would be great for everyday where and dressing up. It does...perfectly, but that's where the problem began....I started to get the watch itch and spent way too much time on these forums. :) I knew that Bluesy was still calling my name and that I wanted her to have something nice as well - if anything to save my own butt! My fiancee and I are getting married in June and plan to start a family soon after so the idea of spending tens of thousands of dollars on watches seemed like something I better get out of the way soone
