New to AP. Looking at buying new blue dial RO
Hey everyone. Id really like to get a hold of a blue dial Royal Oak but know not a lot about them. From my understanding I would need to buy from a boutique with my nearest being in France. I did email them but they did not reply. Are these items on a long waiting list or fairly easy to purchase? Eg. Buying a sub vs trying to buy a Daytona ceramic. I have spotted a few models which appear to my newbie eye to be similar eg. Jumbo and 15400. 39mm and 41mm. Am I mixing a lot of things up here with new references and old?After reading these appear to be more delicate than SS Rolex models. I am careful at the best of times but how often should a new RO be serviced and what is the normal cost for this. Ive seen blue dial new unworn watches for ��14000 or there abouts. Does this scream beware?Sorry for bombarding with questions. Thank you.

AP ROO Rubberclad - Service Question
Hi All,I recently purchased a AP Royal Oak Offshore Rubberlcad. Watch was made in 2007 so I am going to get it serviced. I don't mind sending it back to AP but the band and bezel are in great condition. Are there any watchmakers that you would recommend in the US that I could ship the watch to? Or don't take the airplane to the auto mechanic and do it the right way?Thank you in advance.

Authenticating a Breitling
I have spent a few hours searching this and am still confused so any help gratefully accepted. I have been offered a Breitling Chronospace, 1996 model, SERIAL#A56012.1 10185.The watch is 18 years old and shows age reflective of this. The seller states the following:Movement replaced in 2009 (Aerospace movement) & New Crystal and HandsService & Cleaning in late 2012Neoprene Travel Case (Gen) & Polishing ClothChronospace ManualAftermarket strap & BraceletHe has no proof or papers of this so cannot authenticate. Is there any way of checking authenticity as the seller is not in the same country as me and I cannot view it apart from the pictures he has sent. Its a good price (looking at similar on ebay etc). What would experts value this watch at?I know its difficult without seeing it but a ball park figure would be a good starting point for me. Thank you.

Classic Omega
Hello All,As you might remember I bought an Omega Speedmaster sapphire sandwhich a little while back.Now I am finding myself looking at Omega watches all the time. I am sure you guys know the feeling. They just seem like pre-owned or even NIB from an AD to be a better value than a lot of other watches.My plea for help is this.What else is a classic Omega that an Omega collection should have. Perhaps a SMP, the bond version? Or the Planet Ocean? (they have caught my eye)I would think any Omega collection would need a speedy, but what else would one need?Pics pease if you have any ideas.TIA,Mark
