Mhle-Glashtte Terrasport I Beobachter Watch
For a long time, I didn't know how I felt about pilot's watches. For years, I found myself underwhelmed whenever another in a seemingly endless queue of "me too" models hit the market. Every brand was at it, and I couldn't figure out why. Then, quite by accident, I ended up with one on my wrist, and I finally got it. What followed was an irrational interest in the unusually large,?plain cases, enormous emergency pushers, proud onion crowns, and the bold dials that can be read from a block away (at night). The Mhle-Glashtte Terrasport I Beobachter is not the easiest pilot's watch to read, but its integer-heavy display gives it an identifiability other more generic layouts sometimes lack. This watch is a simple three-hander with a centrally-mounted seconds hand. The slenderness of the red-tipped seconds hand is perfectly designed to precisely indicate the passing time, and makes best use of the ubiquitous line markers on the dial. There is a tendency amongst pilot's watches to go for a
Henrik Stenson's Royal Oak Offshore Prototype
Has anyone seen Henrik Stenson's new prototype Royal Oak Offshore? Thread on purists pro this morning, but wanted to see if anyone here had heard anything. Looks to be a new chronograph with white ceramic case. I really like the looks of it from the few pics I've seen.Link with a shot if it: .golf/henrik-stenson-w...ots-long-day-0

Please don't call me crazy...
Some of you may know...but I have been given this watch as my graduation present by my lovely family . So needless to say unless something goes seriously wrong (let's hope not) this one will be with me till I go to the grave .At first I was not sure I liked the skeleton hands, but then I warmed up to them nicely and IMHO they are easily visible at all times and lume is still pretty good. Still, to make the watch a bit different and more tool like I am considering getting a pro to relume the skeleton hands (ie. fill the hollow portions with lume). He will need to use blue on hour hand and green on minute hand. But I have a few reservations that I would like to have cleared ...- Will the blue/green lume match exactly the one used by Omega?- Will the lume be reliable and not flake off since the hollow is quite broad, especially on minute hand (I do not want it to come off on the dial, much worse into the movement)?- Has anyone attempted this before (any photos?)? Would I be better off bu
White gold 6265 Daytona
This is being auctioned off by Phillips. Pinions are like wrist watcheseveryone's watch shows a different time from others, but everyone believes that their time is correct.
