UTS Adventure Power Reserve
Nicholas Spinner is an engineer who, along with his brothers, owns a well-known factory that produces watch cases and other components for wristwatch manufacturers. Since 1998 Spinner has also been making UTS watches just outside Munich. The new Adventure Power Reserve features a Unitas 6497-1 movement modified to include a power reserve indicator. The case measures 46mm in diameter and is water resistant to 500 meters.
Can anyone help me? Last call!!
It is about quartz models.Size 41 mm.They are discontinued.Would need to know which is the last model that was manufactured to see if I can still find a new one. I guess these are the numbers of models that are close to this time: 2541.80 and 2221.80 but not completely sure. Not that I'm a fan of quartz but I need a watch so accurate. Thanks guys.
5711 sitting for almost two weeks
Just an observation, went to Tysons 2 Mall in VA in middle of January and saw PP 5177 in white dial sitting on the shelf and last night I saw it again. Ask the sales guy about the blue version, he said he is trying to sell the white one first. Seems like the 5711 sale is getting soft...just my 2cents. Dealer name: Liljenquist & Beckstead
Opinion Needed please!
I am really close on picking up a 5146, a watch that has been on my Grail list for quite a long time!So far the problem has been trying to finding one at an AD so I can actually try one on and compare! Finally after months of visiting Ad's and Second Hand dealers I came to one conclusion and that was that I really liked the Cream Dial! However, I am really stuck between the color of Gold that suits my style! I am in love with both the WG and YG for different reasons. I find the WG to be under the radar and simple enough to wear with anything. Yet I find the YG really stunning and it really pop's the dial and show's it real beauty. So could you please share your opinion on which one looks better on my wrist and also your thoughts as to which one would stand the test of time in the long run.thank you for looking.
New Member and first watch: 16013, 16014, or ?
Hi TRF Members,My very first post and wanted to say hello and thank you for the vast amount of great information here. I'm finally at the point in my horological life where I'm ready to add a Rolex to my collection. I'm barely beginning to scratch the surface though on models, movements, history, etc. So many that I would love to own! However, for my first purchase, I'm leaning towards a vintage(ish) model for a couple of reasons. Cost being one (although I realize certain vintages can command some serious money), and just partial to vintage (or vintage looking) watches in general. From the info I've gathered in the past few weeks, I think I've narrowed down my search to two models. The 16013 or 16014. How I came up with them was as follows:Must have acrylic crystal (just love the vintage vibe it gives)Be 36mm caseMust hackHave Fluted BezelHave Jubilee bracelet Prefer black or blue dial Still on the fence between two-tone and not two-tone though, hence the two models. Please Let me know
