My third AP is an Annual Calendar
After a very good season, I awarded myself with a new AP! It's not new, but very nicely used, and I love it! It's an Royal Oak Annual Calendar. 25920ST. Perfect size too! I like the new beefier AP's, but these oldies but goodies aren't bad either!

Alaska Project Speedmaster
This week, I stopped at an Omega AD that I never visited before.I found this Alaska Project in the showcase and took advantage of the opportunity to add it to my collection.

ChapsI have acquired 5 Rolex over the last 3 years and the honest truth is that I would like to finish off the collection with a Patek Philippe.I am currently attracted to the 5396G purely on appearance and also I want to go down the annual / perpetual calendar route and this brings me to my main question. Also please bear in mind that my technical knowledge of PP is below average.The question is - Are there any practical differences in owning either a perpetual or annual calendar watch. For instance is there much difference in setting up the time / date etc between the two and also are there different maintenance issues. Also any are there any pros and cons of owning either of these. Also is there any problems with buying the older models ?Due to my lack of knowledge I will probably buy from an established retailer but any advice on this would be appreciated. Sell or keep? I need help to decide
Guys,I have new VC overseas chrono, and just having second thought about it... I'm patek lover and I just purchase this VC a few weeks to complete the holy trinity. Its somehow very similar to my Rolex Daytona. So should I keep or let go and just purchase to PP complications?What are your thoughts?Thanks!

Scratch out of the box from AD
I hesitate to even post this but I am curious other people's thoughts. First and foremost, I admit some fault in this. What I am about to explain could have been prevented by me.I was looking at a new watch at the local AD. In short, the watch was beautiful and I saw no damage to it. I looked it over very carefully. I agreed to purchase it. They took it in the back to remove a few stickers and box it up. They brought it out and I paid and left. When I got home I took the watch out of the box and photographed it for insurance and placed it back in the box. A couple days later I started wearing it and I noticed a slight scratch on the bezel. At first, I was angry at myself. I thought I must have done it. Then after a day or two I went back and looked at the insurance photo I took. When I zoomed in I could see the scratch was there.How angry would you be about this? I can say with roughly 80% certainty that the scratch was not there when I examined the watch but I can not say
