Blackbird Blackeye Blue Dial
Hello everyone, Attached picture is from Breitling for reference. Was wondering if somebody bought this already. How does it look in person? For those who've bought them care to share why you chose this dial over the black one, thanks!
Man I miss this one...and that one...
I will have a Moon again soon. The other one I sold because I thought 39mm was too small. It might have been smaller but not too small and I should have kept it. You can't even believe how pristine it was.Oddly enough it was the 42mm of the moon that made me think it was a tad too small. Any you miss???Sorry just needed a shoulder to cry on...
Seamaster advice needed
GuysYou probably know that I was looking to cash in on my loyalty card offers and put them towards an Omega Moonwatch. However, now the Moonwatch is almost Rolex money I'm kinda stuck.I had been thinking of buying my 6 month old son a watch and sticking it in the safe (with regular servicing) so that when he's 21 he gets a sweet vintage watch. At Goldsmiths I have seen this...However, I know bugger all about Seamasters. This is the 41mm automatic movement...it's about 1300. With my vouchers next year I could pick one of these up for free. What do you think? Can you give me any info on it?J
2018 Sub case change and impact on current SubC prices
The 14060 was made from 1990 - 2012 and the 16610 from 1987 - 2010, a 22 year and 23 year run respectively. If the case changes this year on the 114060 and 116610 then we're looking at a 6 year and 8 year run respectively on the current ceramics. As an owner of a 114060, I can't help but speculate as to what would happen if my watch is discontinued after a relatively short run of 6 years. I hope it will at least hold it's value, but am I wrong in thinking the watch becomes a rarity in modern Sub terms? Or does everyone try and dump their SubCs for the new model, lowering prices?Obviously this is all hypothetical speculation, and we are probably looking at a movement change if anything this year, but it does make me
Buying a Rolex at an AD in Mexico
Anyone know the Mexican retail on a 114060 - Sub No Date? I am visiting in a few weeks and might purchase while down there. Many thanks.
