Is The Govberg 'OnTime' iPhone App The Start Of Something All Watch Collectors Need?
Govberg Jewelers, a company that owns several watch stores, iW magazine, a pre-owned watch business, a watch repair facility, and more has just released a new iPhone app called OnTime (previously My Watch Box). The new app builds upon the functionality of their existing apps that help you sell unwanted watches to them and also adds something new which, in my opinion, should be something that all watch collectors need. The Govberg My Watch Box (not going to change all the instances of "My Watch Box" but the name of the app just changed to Govberg OnTime, so please be aware of that) app features some useful tools that, while not unique, are well done. The app includes a watch news aggregator (similar to what Watchville is doing), a "watch box," a place to browse new and used watch inventory for sale, as well as a tool for helping you to sell pre-owned watches to Govberg. I've been eying this since announced and FINALLY one is coming home. As you know, very hard to find and wait lists. Again, got lucky and stumbled across this beauty at an AD and I'm THE 1st owner. She's in transit doing the Interstate State shuffle and will be back in my hands on Thursday :)I'm very partial to the blue face as I've had my ROC for about two years and LOVE it. Not sure If the ROC will stay in the family though. The photo doesn't do it justice but, it is a blue face.
Check out this baby!!
I think I've found my next piece!!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My Cosmic 2000
GdayThis is my old Cosmic 2000. When I was 18 I wanted to get a good automatic watch and I love Omegas so when I saw this in a second hand jewellery shop I had to have it. It was on a black strap that I didnt like so I put it on this steel Hirsch bracelet. I wore this watch full time from June 2001 to September 2003 when I saw a new tank style Citizen EcoDrive chrono and retired the Omega. I have a few watches but other things took my attention over the past few years and not wearing a watch on weekends meant autos were always dead on Monday morning and i'm in a rush to get ready for work, I always grabbed the EcoDrive. Now i've gotten back into watches a bit and the EcoDrive has been a great watch but its a bit sterile. Ive found this forum which is great! And I don't have a lot of knowledge about the Cosmic 2000's. I thought I would post it here and ask you guys for any info on the model. I think its from the early 70's? Any info you can share is appreciated. How much are they worth
