Will AP release new 'racing' watches?
Hi all,The AP ROO 44 is my all time favourite watch. The ROO 42 is also a sweet piece. Over the years, we've seen limited edition racing style watches. The RB ( and II,III), various versions of the GP, same goes for the Schumi etc. Will we see more....and when? Or are they done and dusted?I realise this is all speculation- I for one would jump on a new release. Here's hoping....Cheers!

Universal Geneve (1940s chrono): bracelet recommendation?
Dear friends,I've just purchased a 1940s, rose gold and steel Universal Geneve uni-compax chronograph. It has rose gold lugs (17mm) and a salmon dial. I'm awaiting delivery.Could you please recommend a vintage bracelet that you think would be good for it? Seems to me that a black leather strap will be best, but I'd love to hear some recommendations for a vintage bracelet that I could search for.Thanks,David

Well I won't go into the finer details, but I've received a gift from a lady friend.. AP ROO 42mm Ref: 26470ST.OO.A028CR.01 Should be getting it this weekendAlready on the scrounge for a new strap as I'm not that keen on the current one and just trying to find out what strap makers are out there?Already looked at AP Bands, Gunny and a few others but nothing really catches my eye. Something is brewing 116710LN
Reading all the SS Professional line shortages there hasn't been much talk on the black gmt 116710LN. However it seems to me even in shorter supply then the BLNR, Sea Dweller, and Subs. I recently was in 4 cities in Italy and out of the 8 AD's I visited non of them had a GMT LN, not suprising but what was surprising was what they had to say. Each of them had bigger wait lists for the black GMT then they did for Subs. They also said they had been getting a few subs in here and there but no GMT LN. All my local AD's are the same, they actually had a Sub Date they just got in in the case a few days ago. One of my out of state AD's got in a few Subs the other day along with a Sea Dweller that I picked up, but no LN's. Also when I was in Vegas for CES same talk about LN's from AD's there. Pretty interesting. I'm thinking some type of change is coming. I know we never know and it's all speculation but something must be brewin with the 116710LN.

Help to choose between Bluesy and Speedmaster Moonphase
Dear TRF fellows,I need help today as I'm about to make a choice between those two very different watches: latest Bluesy 116613 vs Speedmaster Moonphase (I like both steel and two-tones so I'm not sure yet)Does anyone own both Bluesy and Moonphase, to see side by side pictures or on wrist? Which one to you prefer and why? Alternatively: Are they complementary ? In which occasion do you wear them ?Which one gives you the most presence? (important point in the business environment I live in - I'm a GM in an industrial company)I forgot to mention I already own a Sub date 16610 (daily wearer for more than 20 years), so it's a big decision for me but will never be a full replacement of my classic sub.Thanks for your help and ideasCheers, Chris
