Franc Vila Intrepido Diver Superligero FVi62 Watch
Call me a sucker for dive watches, but I think this new "espa?ol" diver from Franc Vila is pretty cool. This is, in fact, the new-for-2015 Franc Vila Intrepido Diver Superligero FVi62 and, in addition to being the brand's first dive watch, is really intense to pronounce. For me, the Franc Vila brand is really all about the fun of Spanish. Founder Mr. Franc Vila is a Spaniard, even though the watches are Swiss Made. Vila himself is one of the most pleasurable people to listen to speak, as his particular form of Spanish-accent-based speaking is perhaps difficult to understand at times, but endlessly entertaining. My hat off to a man who started a watch company out of passion and has kept it going with effort."Intrepido!" is a word I could just keep saying again and again given how nicely it rolls off the tongue. It is, of course, the first part of the name for the Franc Vila Intrepido Diver Superligero FVi62 watch collection that debuts with four variants that mix dial accent and case co
44mm SS Novelty 26400SO thoughts.
I traded my only AP (26320) 6 months back and focused on collecting Rolex however I'm on the verge of coming back and trading my DSSD for SS/ceramic Novelty. Not a fan of the rubber strap but will order a GP in a few weeks and despite it's larger size,( incidentally I intended to go down a notch despite flirting with the idea of YMII) I'm actually looking forward to it. I have a few week wait until it's here but looking for wrist shots and assurances that this is a good move for me.Any owners out there willing to give their thoughts?

My biggest regret of the weekend.....
I didn't get a wrist shot with Thierry Stern!! Met him, talked to him, took a picture with him, told him I loved the new direction with some of the more larger modern 42 mm sized Patek's. He checked out my 5905 and like a dumbass I forgot to ask for a wrist shot. But I did manage to get some great pics with some of the others that were in attendance:Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
