Leather strap options
I saw a forum user who put a survivor strap on their Diver and noticed how the width of the survivor strap does not taper down as with my (and most other) AP leather strapslooks more like the shape of rubber straps.rolexforums/showthread.php?t=429645i love the look and how it makes the watch look less top-heavy (not that the standard leather straps look bad) and was wondering if AP make any other color leather straps in this stylewas also wondering if it would fit the 42mm ROO chronograph or is it designed for the 44mm? the OP of the thread i mentioned has it on a diver not sure if this is 42 or 44thanks
Guess what watch it is?
So I'm at the movies a couple of days ago and up pops the trailer for Transporter 4. This watch I would like to be a Rolex, that can also be a family heirloom and pass is down to my son who is 3 years old at the moment. I am attracted to this brand because of its history, quality and reliability. This is where I would like to ask for your advice, I have narrowed it down to 2 models: the Explorer I and the Submariner 'no date'.Which of these two models would be longer lasting with normal wear? Also (this might be a silly question, sorry for this) why is the Explorer I considered a sports model when it
Replacing a bracelet
I was just wondering if there are places to buy the new style oyster bracelet for submariners as a replacement if they were to break or be too worn down, or if the service centres can do them. Thanks.
