How old were you when you got your first Patek?
So ... How old were you when you got your first Patek?I have been saving for a Patek, I am 35, want a 5726/1A-001 - but looks like that watch is about 9 years away for me - with real life in the way, I cannot dedicate too much towards my watch fund right now - with a new house last year and new baby on the way, got to prioritize those over the Patek Fund Just wondering when people get their Patek's - how old were you and what watch was it??Need some motivation that it will be worth it!!

New Addition...
About a month ago I had a chance to catch up with an old friend of mine who is a fellow watch lover... We seem to share similar tastes in watches; as we both own a 5146 and an AP 15300 Black Dial. However, he also had this beautiful Calatrava in Rose Gold which he let me wear for most of the time we were together... and ever since then I was hooked... I just wanted to add one to my collection. I found the Rose Gold just perfect and subtle with its warm tone.My friend's Calatrava:So a few days ago I came across this beautiful Rose Gold Calatrava based AC, the 5396R and the price seemed just right. I couldn't pass on the opportunity and today am a proud owner of this beautiful time piece.I think it will make a great addition along side my 5146G.Thank you for sharing in my joy...Happy Watching...
Convert GMT 116710LN to Pepsi 126710BLRO
So now that Rolex has stainless GMT Pepsi, assuming I keep my Oyster bracelet how much might it cost to convert my 116710LN to a 126710BLRODial, Hands, and insert should do it, right?
116610LV Availability?
As the title states, I'm looking to get my second Rolex; a 116610LV Hulk. I've been eyeing this watch since the first green bezel came on the market when it was the 50th Anniversary edition. Waited long enough and decided to get this for myself this February for a milestone birthday. Figure this will last longer than a 24 month lease on a 911 Carrera and I'll enjoy it more in the long run.Question I have after reading through some of the most recent posts about the 116610LV is availability. Seems like it may be tough to find one these days. Can anyone confirm? I haven't stopped in to any AD's yet, but planning to initiate some dialogue over email first. Is a discount of any kind even remotely possible for this watch now due to the high demand? I don't have a relationship with any dealers unfortunately, but still curious to see it there's any room on the price and if so what's the best approach? Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated. Sent from my BLN-L24 using Tapatalk
