1st Album! My Offshore Diver Pics while on Trip
I am on business trip now but can always take time to take a lot of photos of my new diver, on the plane, at my hotel. Just want to share, as well as enable any fence sitters still doubting to buy the Diver. So Enjoy! My AP logo aligned perfectly with my watch! All pics taken with my Samsung Galaxy Note. Too lazy to lug with tripod and DSLR when travelling.
Speedie - 4 yrs or 35 yrs old?
Hey all, i recently purchased a 2003 Speedie Pro which arrived yesterday, however to my dismay the condition was not as described bhy the seller (came covered in scratches, looked to be a daily beater on a building site. I contacted the seller and will be getting a full refund so whilst licking my wounds yesterday i began searching for a replacement and have been offered the following:Old:Year: 1976 (birth year)Model: 145.022Cal: 861Bracelet: 1171Condition: A1, just been serviced and is in perfect conditionAdditions: boxed but no papersNew:Year: 2007Model: 3570.50Cal: 1861Bracelet: 1998Condition: Excellent, some marks on claspAdditions: boxed with papersGiven the choice, which would other members go for? Both are priced roughly the same, is the fact the older one is a birth year makes it too hard to resist or should i place safe and go for the recent example with added papers?Any input is greatly appreciated.
Advice for a new Omega customer
I'm looking to pick up a SS Planet Ocean black (with the orange hour markers), most likely 42mm if I can find it. I have a small wrist, about 6.5 inches. Just wondering what folks think is a good price to pay for the regular and the chronograph. If anyone can recommend a good AD in the NJ, NY, or Philly area that would be really helpful too. Thx in advance.
Show off your before and after Michael Young bracelet repairs
This thread was not my inspiration, but its a good idea to post before and after photos of Michael Young's work. For the New member here looking for help with their bracelet, Michael Young seems to be the Best at this craft. Also as a Photo thread everyone would enjoy the magic that a true artisan like MY can deliver .I'll start this off with my before shot and will add the after when I get it back. One shot should include the bracelet before flex
The perfect Rolex combo meal deal?
I saw a guy online who had a watch collection his collection consisted of 2 Rolex watches. A 14270 and a 16570. Something about that pairing just made a lot of sense. I admired the simplicity.
