Parmigiani Celebrates Brazil Soccer with New CBF Watch Collections
When Brazil’s CBF soccer team defeated reigning world champ Spain 3-0 in the Confederation Cup final on June 30, they had at least one Swiss watch company in their cheering section: Parmigiani Fleurier, which became the team’s official watch partner in 2011. At this year’s SIHH, Parmigiani introduced four new watches in two collections inspired by the team and the nation of Brazil. The new watches honoring the CBF (Confedera??o Brasileira de Futebol) include two men’s models and one ladies’ model, both chronographs, in Parmigiani’s sporty Pershing collection; and two pieces in the brand’s versatile Transforma collection, which debuted in 2011: a chronograph and a retrograde annual calendar. The men’s watch, the Pershing Chronograph 005 CBF, comes in a 45-mm titanium case with a choice of either a titanium, rose gold or white gold bezel. The CBF team colors, which reflect the colors of Brazil’s flag, are evident in the design: blue for
Most Beautiful Watch Not At Basel?!
It took me a few years, but I finally found the hands-down, most awesome watch ever made. I'm sorry, the most awesome watch that has ever, and will ever be made. Nothing will beat it's pristine beauty and function. It is a masterpiece by all measures. The holy grail of design perfection, and complication - and it comes to you from your trusted friends at Life Alert. You know? That company waiting each moment of every day tohelp you upwhen you've fallen down.Hard to know if this watch actually made it (or will make it) to production. You can see the "emergency button" being the yellow-ish football shaped area on the lower part of the watch face. Now you'll never again need to carry your Life Alert pendant with you anymore - cause white plastic went out of a stylelike forever ago. Thing of this watch as a modern Breitling Emergency. This beauty does a few things well. In addition to telling the time, you have a fine faux gold in the middle of the bracelet links. Like the two tone luxury
We Have An Incoming! AP T-3
I feel like this has been a long time coming..These days, AP has really changed their approach. The company is not producing as many limited editions as they used to. I can only assume that cut back was done so when a limited does come out, it will be very special and not another over saturated limited. The materials AP is using now are cutting edge and for good reason to. Rubber is being replaced with ceramic, The classic machined tapisserie dials are starting to be stamped in more and more pieces instead of the classic machined technique. But it's that classic machining technique that gives the dials those textures and depth. I'm sure AP will always revert back to classic techniques, but on the more main stream pieces like offshore models, things are definitely changing. Going forward into the future, AP is taking a direction to make sure things become more and more efficient, that's for sure. But there is something about the older pieces that really make me feel warm and fuzzy insi

I bought this original print for cheap off Ebay. Thought I'd share. Did you know the Speedy was selling for $185 retail in those days?!
