New Safari owner
I just bought me a Safari the other day!Well, actually I traded my polished 15300 which I wasn't pleased with for this Safari. So far I'm loving it!2014 model, still under warranty which is the only reason why I dare to use it. Service costs is no joke! One question, what happens if I start the chronograph and while it's running, I press the reset button?I don't dare to try it...Safari in Swedish snow The dial is magical, I still haven't figured out how they made the numbers.Of course I also have the original leather. But I prefer the steel bracelet! I'm no leather guy.
Lume Shot!!!
Just a quick pic. Of my 2255.80 in the dark
Omega advice needed
Hey fellow Omega aficionadosI have been buying fairly heavily into Rolex over the last 6 months and have gathered an early 64 Explorer, a 1680 Red Sub, a transitional 16800 with crazy tango lume, a new TT GMTIIc and most recently a new WG Sub. Oh and also a Rolex Tudor (panda dial) Oysterdate. I am now turning my attention back to Omega as I feel a status change coming over the next 3-5 years and was wondering what you guys and gals feel would be a nice addition or two to my collection. It can be new or old but probably max size of 40mm. Currently, my Omegas are a pre-moon 69 Moonwatch (currently on an Ofrei racing strap but I also have the original bracelet with the angled omega sign), a 58 international series small seconds on alligator, a black face 67 Seamaster date on the original 9 row beads of rice bracelet and lastly a frankenstein 1931 (originally a gold pocket watch) conversion. Any ideas welcome and a brief reason why? And to whet your appetite, here's a few pics of the on
Omega Speedmaster Cal. 321
Hi everyone,I have an opportunity to buy a NOS Omega Speedmaster Cal. 321. All I know about the watch is that the Cal. 321 is a highly sought after movement, is that true? Also what sort of price would be reasonable for this watch, it is a purchase through a friend of mine who works at an AD.Thank you in advance :)
Sky D SS blue found one at MRP!
Happy to let fellow members of this forum know that a little research and persistence from my side and a whole lot of luck has paid off ,got my SS sky dweller with a blue dial from the ad at list! All I did was call up the dealers all over the country and used a little influence and here it is! Paid for it in advance today ,will be on my wrist in a weeks time as I have to go to Mumbai to collect it ! I consider my self lucky a SS Daytona C in white got it in 3 months and the SS Sky D in a matter of 2 months ...Sorry about the poor quality of the pictures sent to me by the sales guy but will post better ones once on my wrist ... along side my Daytona C Hope fully this completes my quest ....
