Watch shopping on vacation
So it got a little hot and decided to see if I could oil the wheels of the economy a bit.. while looking for something for my wife, I came across THE Ti.. I was very pleased to feel how soft the strap was compared to my RG 44. Here are some pics The Patek guy was trying hard to sell me this one..
Need a chronograph AP ?
After owning 2 APs, I looking for the chronograph to add for my daily wearing but still not lucky enough to pick the one the make me happy. So I try to jump back and looking for another AP Chrono but I don't know which model, all of them are fantastic. Is there any suggestion that can help me go forward ?Pics please ! Thanks
AP ROO for small wristed folk
Hi all, Would like some advice and guidance as I have my eyes set on either an AP ROO Safari or Panda. However I have a 6 inch wrist, and when I try them on at boutiques they seem too big due to the lugs and the stiffness of the strap. Can I have feedback on how fellow small wristed folk who own these watches like or find them? What do you do eg punch a hole on the strap/buy a smaller strap/change to a rubber strap and does it work well? Pictures would be much appreciated as well.... Thanks, Eugene
Common up-charge for an AD to send watch to RSC?
Is it common in your area for an AD to charge a lot more to send a watch for RSC to repair? When I was buying my BLNR the other day a guy walked in and said his watch didn't work. The lady said they could send to RSC but he minimum charge if it was just a basic service was $1,250 on his Submariner. I couldn't believe my ears!
Consolidating GMTs - Need Your Opinion!
Hello, all! I have three GMTs.2 x 16710 and a 116710LN.I am seriously considering the following idea - should I consolidate for a 116719BLRO?For those that upgraded from a SS 16710 to a WG 116719BLRO, any regrets?
