Girard-Perregaux Creates Ermenegildo Zegna Centennial Limited Edition
2010 marks the Centennial year of Ermenegildo Zegna, one of Italy's longest standing family-driven enterprises. Four generations of the Zegna family have directed the company's activities and created a global brand with stores in eighty six countries. To celebrate this anniversary, Zegna is launching a limited edition watch created by Girard-Perregaux. The edition is limited to 100 pieces, available exclusively in the Top 20 Ermenegildo Zegna flagship stores worldwide. This centenary watch expresses the Ermenegildo Zegna style while maintaining the spirit of a Girard-Perregaux. It also pays homage to the Zegna’s origins, as Angelo Zegna, the father of the founder Ermenegildo, was a watchmaker by trade. AP buying advice
Hello forum, I search and read alot however rarely post. Have been on a AP kick as of late and now searching for my next acquisition which I think I have found. The Boutique scuba edition in blue ( 15701ST.00.D002CA.02 ) is what I am really drawn to. My question is if it is worth it or not? Was wondering if the movement and finish and such is as good as present day models. Is the value there for what they are typically going for these days which I think is 17-19K. For such limited pieces they seem to sit for a while which makes me have second thoughts.I am currently not near a distributor and my patience is wearing so thin that I really should have purchased one yesterday.I purchased a previously owned 26331ST in blue recently and love it, it seems that I like the boutique editions. Am hoping to get a few more AP to insert in my rotation.Your input would be greatly appreciated.Cheers

Help needed on the white 44mm
I'm looking right now to buy the new white 44mm novelty ..in order to do this I'm trading in my panda and bumble bee.. I was wondering if anyone have any idea why the white 44mm is selling above retail and will it keep value? Is it worth it to go trade the panda and bumble bee for this? Thank for the advise

Evening all,I saw a thread on here not long ago entitled 'Patek owners - what do you do for a living ?'Basically to see if there is a similarity in your occupation.User Jon_Jon said a better question would be 'how many people have inherited their wealth vs. how many are self-made, to purchase a PP'So I ask, which are you? If you are self-made, what do you do for a living?Personally, My father took over his company 2 years ago, it's a very consistent company, maintaining a high profit. He gave me the capital I needed to start my own company in the defence industry, to which my company began to grow and grow. I paid him back within a year and bought myself a GC 5970G. What about you?
