The Evolution Of Wristwatch Sizes
In the beginning the watch gods created the wristwatch, and it was good.Up until the early 1900s, pocket watches ruled the day for men's timekeeping fashion. These were worn on a chain in a pocket, either in a vest or trousers. It was considered sissy for men to wear watches on their wrists. However, in 1904 Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos Dumont collaborated with his friend Louis Cartier, the famous French watchmaker, to design and create a timepiece for the wrist that could be easily read while flying. Going for 15202... whilst owning a 15400
Hi lads,I currently have a 15400 in black. Before I got this a few years ago, I was actually considering between this and a 15202 - but the reason why I went for the 15400 was because of the lack of second hand on 15202 and also because the 15202 does not feature screw-in crown. But then in terms of fit and dial design, I think 15202 is just so mesmerising, although I genuinely think in terms of the movement design, the 3120 is better looking and certainly more 'functional' than the 2121Anyway, my question is - is it justifiable to own both 15202 and 15400 simultaneously? Opinions please gents!
prev 15202 or '12 15202?
