Introducing the C. Ward C8 P7350
On April 1st, we ran a joke post on Christopher Ward releasing a supercomplication for $10k… The crux of the joke being that C Ward has continually pushed the envelope regarding pricing and movement manufacturing in reality, and that an "affordable" super-complication would be the logical extreme… hardy har, we all had a good time :-). Well, this week C Ward announced the C8 P7350 Chronometer, which while quite different from a tourbillon, is still a version of them bringing a luxury concept into more affordable territory ("more" being the operative word, as it's their most expensive watch to date). You see, the C8 P7350 not only contains a serious in-house movement, a new variety of their SH21, but also a historical relic; a piece of a WWII era Spitfire. The C8 P7350 honors the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, a massive air campaign fought in 1940 by the RAF against the Luftwaffe. Christopher Ward commemorates this battle in two ways; first with a watch design bas
AP 15400 stopped few times
Hi all. I got a 15400 which I bought in february 2015 bnib. I take a very good care of my watches and this piece still have the most stickers on and never had any accident. Still like Brand new. I never wear it because I live in Brazil and its quite dangerous . Last week I was in Miami wearing my Watch and it just stopped working. I pull the button off, shaked it.. and it worked again but it stopped again and again and again. Now it still bad delaying time. Do you guys have any idea of what happens? I got the extended 3 year warranty but im very frustated about that.RegardsRicardo
2254.50 for a 2209.50?
I've recently been thinking about selling my 2254.50 and replacing it with the 2209.50. The Seamaster pro is in great shape, I've had it since '05 the only issue with it was the clasp got hung up on something and has a couple deep scratches however, I just ordered a replacement so that should really be a non-issue.Would any one else consider doing the same switch if they were in my position? Or should I stick with the classic Seamaster Pro?
Incoming - 116500LN
Short version. Found myself with some time in the Bangkok airport today. Wandered in the Rolex shop. I noticed that they had a SS Sky-Dweller on display, which was somewhat surprising. I asked if they perhaps also had a BLNR. They did - in the safe. The gentleman then noted that they also had a white SS Daytona and a black SS Daytona, along with a range of other SS models. All in caskets. All Rolex retail prices, no taxes as this is an AD.I had about 5 minutes to decide between the BLNR and the white Daytona. Here is what I picked :). Wrist shots to follow when my journey ends. About the easiest and quickest luxury purchase I've had.
