RO 15450-white or grey dial? Discounts?
I went watch shopping yesterday and was able to try on some ROs' for the first time. My impression was that the 15400 was too large but the 15450 felt 'right'.Having got over my initial reservations regarding wearability, i need to decide between the white and grey dials. I thought the white dial is nice (and more traditional) but the grey seemed to pop out a little bit more. Going thru this forum, most mentions of the 15450 is in white dial with few of the greys. Is this a new option that was introduced recently?If you have the option, would you choose the white or grey dial?In terms of pricing, one AD (white dial) offered 10% whilst the other (listed multi-national) initially said pricing on SS sports models are firm. After some gentle persuasion, 5% was offered. For a SS 15450, what level of discounts can be expected/can I (reasonably) push for?Going to visit them again today. Any advice would be appreciated. Hoping someone can answer my question, I can't understand why AP's don't hold their value? Looking at buying a diver, the depreciation doesn't bother me however it just raised the question for me. Many thanks, Jack

Does the value of your watch impact how you wear it?
Simple question: does the current market value of your watch impact how you wear it?I'm no stranger to expensive watches and generally don't fret about how I wear my watches relative their cost. Most would cringe to see what I wear when fishing, boating, motorcycling, hunting, golfing, etc. However the recent (insane) valuation of steel Pateks has begun to influence how I wear them. I've found myself worrying about scratches and dings on my steel Pateks whereas it was never a consideration before. I have no such hangups with my PM watches - only steel. Brand has little bearing on it. Maybe I'm just not meant to own steel? Thoughts?

I have a PAM 327 with a bracelet. This watch is one of my favorite Panerais. I am looking for the blue OEM strap as a second option to the bracelet. Where can I get one at a reasonable price? Any help is greatly appreciated. TIA.
