Watch What-If: Omega Speedmaster
"Watch What-If" is a special column on aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer that asks the playful question "what if an iconic watch you know and love was offered in a different style?" The idea embraces a good timepiece's core design and has fun by offering new colors and material concepts to stimulate your senses. These ideas may be provocative, artistic, or just plain silly. This is about fun, Photoshop, and the celebration of wrist watch design and experimentation. The original design we work off will always be at the bottom of the article. The designs are brought to life by Beau Hudspeth who does the artwork and conception after he and I choose the models and styles to focus on. These special design experiments are extremely time consuming and labor intensive but we hope you enjoy the results. Ideas and comments are more than welcome. Enough response may even lead to a round two of design of the same watch - so please comment below. You are also encouraged to suggest watches that make it into
Need Advice About Watch Box
Need to ask for advice about whether to replace the inner (red) Omega watch box and the small wallet that holds the instructions, warranty, etc.I recently purchased an Omega Seamaster that was originally sold in 2002. The inner red box and wallet' are somewhat tattered--not just terribly so, but far from pristine. I was going to present this watch to one of my children as a present and was wondering if I should try to obtain a new--or newer and better looking--box, etc. What would you do if this were your situation? Where could I look to find a suitable box for sale? (Have tried the For Sale section of this and other watch fora without success.)Thanks for your input and advice.
I LOVE this feeling.
Guys, I am super excited to meet my new baby tomorrow (according to Dr. Patrick, aka OCROLEXGUY, the baby will be delivered tomorrow afternoon. This baby has been on my list for a long time. Couple years back, an unfortunate event happened to me personally and I had to let go all of my watches. Two years ago, not Lady Luck, but her other cousin Mr. Bad Luck, visited us right on Thanksgiving night. We got robbed at gun points right in our house, right when I put my 7 year old Patrick to bed. All were gone. I have never complained or given up. My wife and I worked tirelessly to care for the children and try to save up to buy back the watches I love so much. Piece by piece, they started to come home. First the GMTIIc, next was the Yacht-Master (for the man that judged my character based on my misspelled of Yacht-Master and for how I did not post enough on this forum ) then the new blue Datejust 41mm, and tomorrow.......my wife and I will welcome our newest baby: Random serial Explorer II
Diamond pave with ruby
Is the diamond pave dial a custom made or rolex has really made it?
