Hublot Limited Edition Classic Fusion Watches The Watch Gallery UK
UK watch retailer, The Watch Gallery has recently introduced its latest limited edition partnership, this time with Hublot. Following successful TWG limited edition pieces from brands like Zenith and Bremont, Hublot has produced two limited Classic Fusion models, a chronograph and an automatic three hander. Both models will feature the TWG signature blue on their seconds hands as well as the inclusion of blue tinted case back sapphire crystals. In addition to this distinctive use of color, this is also the first time that Hublot has produced 45mm Classic Fusion models in titanium with ceramic bezels. Both of the TWG and Hublot models measure 45mm across and feature satin-finished titanium cases, black ceramic bezels and anti-reflective sapphire crystals up front. The three hand model is powered by the HUB1112 automatic movement, which is based on the Sellita SW300 movement and provides a date display (at three) and 42 hours of power reserve. The chronograph is largely a similar aff
Omega Speedmaster Mark II Reissue Watch For 2014
In 1969 Omega introduced the Speedmaster Mark (Mk) II as an updated version of the outgoing Speedmaster. It happened to be in the same year that Omega also had a few of its older generation Speedmasters make their way to the moon in the NASA Apollo 11 mission, but that of course is another story. With a newly formed case that would become an iconic symbol of the brand as well as the era, the Omega Speedmaster Mark II will be re-introduced by Omega this year in 2014 with a modern movement but a design that is very true to the original. We even have the price below - which is lucky given how early this is being announced. As a pre-Baselworld 2014 release, Omega has given watches-dealer a glimpse of the upcoming "mid-range" priced Omega Speedmaster Mark II models that will arrive in at least two forms. Those with a love of the more colorful Speedmasters will enjoy the Omega Speedmaster Mark II with a red/orange and gray dial that is an homage to the vintage ref. 145.014 Omega Speedmaster P
5167 versus Smurf Trade and Response
Good morning TRF!I am confused. I have a Patek 5167a on Steel Bracelet with full box and papers from 2013 and it was serviced in 2015 before warranty expired.I also purchased the black rubber and deployant from AD. I also purchased brown rubber from AD so I pretty much have 3 watches. It is great. However with a PAM 112, a Rolex 1675 I have 3 sports watches with dark dials and interested in a blue dial.Anyway, I keep seeing prices from dealers from $22k to $25k for used and preowned 5167s with half my accessories and then I saw someone on TRF selling a Smurf for $22.5k cash. I thought I would see if a 1 to 1 trade was even fair. His response was as follows Good morning. I'd certainly consider a trade but checking other offered prices on eBay and chrono24, I couldn't get to 1 for 1.At this point with prices as they are and rising, isn't a 1 to 1 trade is fair right? Unless people are buying at a significant discount to list prices on TRF? Can someone please let me know how much negotiati
Quoted 5 months to repair sticking date
Took my 5 months old 5167 to the service centre as the date was sticking and not fully changing over to the next day. Was quoted 5 months for the repair. They advised to change the time to 6 o'clock when changing the date.As I maybe without my new watch for next 5 months could I request that the warranty is extended by 5 months to cover the time the watch is being repaired and not available to me?Had it for 5 months and now will lose it for 5 months. If it was a car there would be a courtesy car offered for the duration of the repair!
Rolex 1016, can I fit the 78790 bracelet?
Question as per the title. I'd like to preserve the original bracelet, and have the added security of the flip lock on the 78790.Can it be fitted, and if so, which end links?
