Arnold & Son Instrument CTB "Central True Beat" Chronograph Watch
Arnold & Son has been coming up with many interesting pieces in recent times and last year saw them introduce the world's thinnest tourbillon movement in their UTTE (Ultra Thin Tourbillon Escapement) watch.?More recently, they introduced the very interesting DSTB (Dial Side True Beat) watch, which will premiere at Baselworld 2014 next week.Like the Arnold & Son DSTB watch, the new Arnold & Son Instrument CTB (Central True Beat) watch will feature a true beat or dead beat seconds hand with a chronograph complication�C the first ever as we understand it. We don't see dead seconds often, but what it means is that instead of the seconds hand sweeping smoothly, ?it will tick like a quartz watch.That may not sound like much, after all Antoine Martin's Slow Runner also has a dead seconds hand courtesy of its 1Hz movement. THE BUG has HIT ME! I'm looking into picking up a RGRC & wanted to get some photos/input from current/previous owners. I wanted to know how the watch holds up over time. I would be looking to pickup the updated/last model year but wanted to see how the watch looks with daily wear. I've seen some that are in MINT condition with a great bezel and some with a shiny cheap plastic looking bezel. In general i want to know how the watch ages and how often i would need to replace the bezel to keep it looking MINT. I'm super OCD and with the RGRC i love how it looks new and hate how it looks with a shiny bezel. PS: i know everyone is going to say to get the RG44. Although i LOVE that watch it's not an option as the 44 is too big for my wrist.

New (old) shoes for the FOIS
I usually like straps for the winter and realized that spring was approaching without having a strap on the FOIS. So I dug around in the strap drawer and came up with a new gold brown Hirsch Medici which is my old favorite for the Speedy Pro. The strap is intended for 20mm lugs but I know some have squeezed them into the 19mm lugs of the FOIS.So I gave it a try:Me likey! :-)What do you think?

Previously Polished 5124g?
I have been looking at the 5124g for some time now. I absolutely love the watch; I think it's sensational. However, at $27.2k new, I think it's a bit much, especially considering what they go for pre-owned, and I have not found anyone willing to come off that price too much. However, a Patek AD I work with from time-to-time tells me they just got a pre-owned 5124g in from a collector. I asked why it wasn't on their website yet and the salesman said well, because it hasn't been serviced and polished yet. Most of my pre-owned knowledge comes from the world of Rolex, where polishing is very bad. I told him that if the watch was newer, and depending on condition, I would definitely want it unserviced and not polished. Am I just misinformed and this is standard protocol? This is a very reputable Patek AD. He gentleman also said that depending on if our watchmaker is allowed to work on it or not, it will go back to Patek in Manhattan, or stay here with our watchmaker. Is there ever any way t
