Swatch Group Target
Thought the following may be of interest to some Omega fans:Just read on the BBC Telextext page that Swatch Group are looking for sales growth of between 5% and 10% in 2012 after reporting record sales in 2011 (up 21.7% to 4.8bn / $7.5bn). I wonder where they are aiming most the the sales growth from? I'd reckon they'd have to shift a fair number of Swatch watches to reach their target, so I guess there will be a lot of pressure on the Omega Division.
New Old Stock 5980 Stainless Availability?
I understand that this model was discontinued quite a bit ago, but curious if there is belief on probability (or actuality!) that there may be some NOS blue or black a AD has tucked away?Saw recently another member score a white stainless 5980 from AD - Wishful thinking this may apply to stainless blue or black as well.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The way this dial changes....wow.
VERSUS: A Touch of Red (GMT-Master / Sea-Dweller)
Eleventh edition of the VERSUS post/picture. What is VERSUS? Well, I thought it would be fun to compare two watches (and only those two watches) and discuss pros/cons by outlining the differences and getting folks' ideas/thoughts/opinions on TRF. We got folks here that have been collecting and studying these things for decades all the way to those who are just starting to venture into the crazy world of Rolex (and everyone in between). Therefore, it would be fun and educational! For this edition, we have a showdown of a couple models with a touch of red. The GMT-Master II 16710 with the red 24-hr hand and the 50th Anniversary Sea-Dweller 126600 with the red 'Sea-Dweller' on the dial.Which do you prefer and why?Previous VERSUS:1.
