The Parmigiani Bugatti Mythe timepiece will be one of three piece unique watches unveiled this weekend during the Pebble Beach auto show events (Concours de Elegance), to help celebrate Parmigiani's ten-year relationship with the very high-end car maker Bugatti. It was in 2004 that the first Parmigiani Bugatti watch was released, and since then we've seen a range of highly avant garde timepieces produced via the formal agreement between the two brands.While there has been a range of Parmigiani Bugatti watches over the years the new Bugatti Mythe watch is related to the original Parmigiani Bugatti Type 370 (some images in this article). Born during a time of great horological design experimentation, the Type 370 was meant to be a very novel-looking "driver's watch." Press release - dedicated to the inventor of the first "writer time" for the first of its own first-calibre, Montblanc has created a chronograph of historic proportions, the name of the inventor of the chronograph: Nicolas Rieussec, who, in 1821, developed a watch with rotating dials in which an ink marker attached to the fixed index wrote the downtime. For the first time, this has allowed the time finishing of individual horses at horse of the time. The invention was considered as so ingenious that it gave the chronograph its name: "chronos" for the time and "graphein" to "writing". Technique of Rieussec of two rotating disks has inspired the new Montblanc Star Nicolas Rieussec Monopusher Chronograph, and this has been integrated in a unique masterpiece of chronographic watchmaking with barrels of binoculars and a 72 hours power reserve.

As many of you know, I just picked up my first AP and I've been enjoying it. Here are a few snap shots from this weekend. Saturday morning was spent taking my daughter to Disney on Ice. This was my view. My wife and the other families we went with had a great timeSaturday was date night with the wife. It's hard to get out on our own these days. We started the evening at a wine bar for drinks and appetizers.Next stop was dinner. We started with drinks and escargot.And ended the evening with a 36 ounce bone in cowboy ribeye tomahawk. I was awakened by my in laws the next morning for some Korean food. They never stop trying to feed me. Are they trying to kill me?!A couple of hours later, my wife and I head to one of our favorite Indian places...for more food. Now the fun begins. Maybe because we were in a food coma, we decided to go to the mall to do some shopping...On the last Sunday before Christmas. I ended up having a great time though. Watches on sale as bnib but way less than msrp
One question been puzzling me. I see lots of bnib watches for sale at way less than mrsp eg 116619lb PM Smurf on sale for $26k a few weeks old when the msrp is over $36k. Plus lots of others that are less than cost. Who is taking the hit on these if they are sold at cost - and if not how can the trusted sellers make cash on them ??

New incoming (Christmas!), completing my SEAL team
Got my SkyD recently but not unwrapped yet. Excuse was it was Xmas present so that’s that.Unfortunately my RO still in service center so unable to take group pic. Been away for 2 months, sorely miss it. Estimation given, it’s another 5-6 weeks.And it completed my SEAL team!
