15300 - date won't advance easily via crown
I sent my RO in to Clearwater about a year ago. I could have sworn I was told this was a known issue. The watch was repaired / fully serviced / and I read my third year warranty.Now...the issue has returned. I can advance the date by setting the time and with effort / I.e. Pulling the crown in and out advance the date. The person at CS had no knowledge of a known issue. Problem now is they are closed 12/21-1/4...I'll have to wait until Jan to send it in or it will just sit.Has a into e else had this problem??Thanks
Initial advice please
Hello,Not been in here before...more of a Rolex person.I have a pal who is wanting to sell one of his 2 Omegas. The first option is his solid gold Seamaster (would it be 14k or 18k?, we wonder), a vintage piece bought circa late 60's, early 70's. The other is a bimetal Constellation, bought in the mid 90's. The older piece has no original box or papers, but a valuation from an Omega dealer when it was servcied 2 years ago. It sees little daily use. The Constellation is a daily user with original box and also a valuation from the same place.I will be able to put up pictures early next week. Just asking the Omegaisti their views on which one would command a better value, which one would you keep, etc.He is planning to sell one of them and I will try to help him in the FS section. he is a professional man of excellent standing, btw, I can vouch for him.Thanks,Michael.

So I walked in to buy a 312...
...but two ADs later I ended up with a 510. This is my first venture into the Paneristi and glad I finally popped my cherry :). Based on pictures I was certain I was buying a 312...after trying it on it fealt awkward. Wanting an auto I move on to the 104...but I could not get past the lack of sandwhich dial. The staff at Tourneau suggested I consider the 510 and after much debate this was the winner! Love it!
ETA black bay vs In-house
I was just wondering the other day what makes the ETA black bay in black so sought after. Is it that it looks very similar to a vintage black bay with its smiley text and all? More serviceable? More proven/ tried and true? Maybe it's that people hate the purely ornamental rivets on the new bracelet? Im just curious and I think these cover most of the reasons but maybe there are some ETA BB owners out there that have more to addSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
