Hublot Launches Aero Bang Morgan
On the anniversary of the first century of the Morgan Motor Company, Hublot has produced a special Big Bang inspired by Morgan’s AeroMax car: the Aero Bang Morgan. Jean-Claude Biver presented it in Malvern (GB), at the jubilee firm's headquarters, in the presence of Charles Morgan. The AeroMax is a limited series of 100 hand-made cars. The first 100 of Hublot’s 500 Aero Bang Morgan timepieces have been reserved for AeroMax owners. The 44.5mm ceramic and tungsten Aero Bang watch sports a Morgan logo at 9 o’clock on a skeleton dial that allows the owner to appreciate the chronograph “engine” beneath. That engine is Hublot’s HUB44 SQ automatic chronograph caliber with 252 components including 27 jewels. The movement features sandblasted bridges, black PVD screws and an oscillating weight made from tungsten carbide with a dimpled surface and a black PVD coating. In case you’re wondering what the Morgan AeroMax looks like…
WATCH WHAT-IF: Tudor Black Bay
Watch What-If - the watches-dealer series where we invite guest designers to imagine existing watches in new ways - is back with a look at the Tudor Black Bay. Watch enthusiast and artist Synaptyx takes a look at this modern "classic" from Tudor that interprets the brand's design heritage in a way that has captivated so many of today's watch lovers. watches-dealer reviewed the Tudor Black Bay watch here. Here are some words from Synaptyx on his designs:Recently, there has been a big push in Superhero movies, and there are tie-ins in every market. I thought why not a versatile Tudor watch for Superheroes, Super-villains, and Super-spies. This line of thinking lead me to the drawing board and back to the Tudor Black Bay that I wanted to see, but with a twist. Here is a snowflake-dialed Tudor Black Bay in some super-character driven iterations.Above, to our Super-spy, James Bond. What modern day Tudor could he get the most use out of? A GMT version seems like a good fit, with all that tra
Seamaster Planet Ocean Ladies Chronograph
Now I think there was a topic on this a while back here but not sure how much info / pictures were attached. A great new ladies watch from Omega on the way. Pictures of this watch came about during Basel 2009. There is a write up on the new Planet Ocean Chronograph in Omega Lifetime (4th issue seen below):From - omegawatchesAll of the issues can be seen here:.omegawatches/index.php?id=1113Omega is yet to updated their model listings on the site, and the magazine article does not list a model number. It is known for sure though that this watch is a 37.5mm Planet Ocean Chronograph for the Ladies. This watch has the same Co-Axial caliber 3313 movement from their larger models. As of this moment I do not know the MSRP, but expecting it to cost less than the bigger, mens models. Same depth rating as the other versions, 600M. Also herd that it will be just like those bigger models and offer both Chronograph (seen below) and non Chronograph. In my opinion think it is one heck of a watch for t

Crazy Japan Daytona prices
Andy Chan on Instagram posted this from a trip in Japan last month. I know Japan has a fondness for the Daytona models but this is really crazy. Is this a hint of what's to come in the near future if Rolex doesn't release inventory to the ADs?
