Zenith represented the pinnacle of watchmaking perfection
Founded in 1865 by its fastidious owner, Zenith , represented the pinnacle of watchmaking perfection. Georges Favre-Jacot and his company was one of only a few watchmakers that manufactured complete watches. He produced these watches using up-to-date machinery and tools that he built himself.
Suggestions on a sports watch
I'm sure what the answer will be from most, but I'll ask anyway. I have always liked collecting watches, and was buying Tag and Hamilton level stuff. I just made the jump to a DJII, and now want a new weekend sports watch to compliment it. Long story short is I love the Breitling Superocean 42 and the Explorer II. With that said after just buying my first Rolex my budget is a little shot. I know very little about Breitling watches, but is the Superocean a good fill in until I can get an Explorer II down the road?(most likely several years).
Just fooling around with my iphone
And I really liked this pic
Best of both worlds - the SD4K
It has the great bracelet and Glidelock as well as the non-maxi case and lugs. It has the ceramic bezel, the matte dial, and the non-cyclops date. It's been a long time since this SD4K has seen the light of day (it was hibernating at the bank), and boy did I miss it. The LVc will be splitting time again.
AD went to size my watch, and removed all stickers against my wishes. Advice?
I took my brand new BLNR with stickers (purchased 2/20) to a well known AD in SoCal to size it for my wrist. My plan was to size it and put it back into the safe to hold on to. Possibly wearing during special events, or maybe around the house when feeling saucy, but definitely keeping stickers on and definitely keeping the watch in perfect condition.I gave the watch to the person at the counter, who handed it off to the tech on duty. While she did this, I mentioned to both of them that I'd like the stickers kept on the watch, but understood if one had to be removed to get links out. We all had a good laugh about wearing a watch with stickers, and the tech took it into the back.About 5 minutes of browsing later, I got the watch back, with 2 links taken out and absolutely zero stickers left on the watch. Once I noticed, I immediately turned white. I'm going to stop the story right here and ask, if you were in my position, what would you have done here? Would you have blown up? Woul
