Orbita Sparta 1 Mini Giveaway Winner Follow Up
aBlogtoReadwatches-dealer reader Michael L. was the lucky winner of the Orbita Sparta 1 Mini Watch Winder giveaway help a few months ago. He was nice enough to take some images of his winnings and provide his thoughts. I reviewed the Orbita Sparta 1 Mini myself here. Overall I think he really liked the winder for its easy functionality and quite use. Though Michael is a man which larger wrists, and some of his watches may have felt large (but not necessarily too large in the winder). Here are his thoughts (I comment a bit in there as well).The winder is not overly large, yet I was very pleasantly surprised that it could hold my watches just fine. I have larger than normal wrists, 8.25-8.5" around and tend to wear larger watches. A good size for me is 46 mm, and I can go up to 52 mm without it looking too silly. I just wanted to do a quick post about my recent experience with AP in light of all the hand wringing about accuracy and movement issues. I sent in my RO for the 3 year warranty and to have them check the movement as it was running fast. Dropped it off on 7/28 and received the call today 8/15 that it is back and ready to be picked up. So three weeks max, including shipping both ways. Could not ask for more -- AP service is by far the best of all the brands I have dealt with. So, yes, my APs tend to run fast but if there is ever an issue AP fixes it no questions asked, and they do it pronto. This is why my next watch will be another AP. So if you like APs but the horror stories of movement issues are holding you back, buy what you like, enjoy it and stop worrying about 10 seconds here and there. Slow down, enjoy the watch and rest assured it will be fixed should anything go wrong.

Panerai Winding
Can you over wind a Panerai watch? I have heard that the Rolex models take 60 winds for a full charge and cannot really be over wound. How many winds to fully charge a Panerai and is it possible to over wind one? Considering the PAM111. Thank you.
