speedy pro clasp advice
Hi, I have a speedy pro with an OEM leather strap, but I could not bring myself to purchase the $300 clasp. I bought a knockoff on eBay and while it works I am prepared to spend the coin on the OEM if it is superior. The hinge on the knockoff is a bit wobbly when open and just feels a bit cheap.... 'cause it was...So is the OEM 94521813 clasp worth it????
Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800
Hi,I have seen this watch on internet...and i am very interested...It will potentially become my first PP (potentially). It comes without box and papers. The seller has sent the following pictures and I am wondering if it's not a fake...could you help me?In addition, it's a 3800...small size but it's a very elegant watch...could you post your pictures with this model on your wrist.I have found other 3800 - the date indicator is in white not black as here, and as i am concerned the polich with which the date is written is different...The glass has some minor and light scratches - is it a plexi or a saphire? can it be polished or I have to change it...?please help me.thank you.
Patek vs IWC
Hi guysI wanted to pick your brain a bit regarding my decision of acquiring a PP Nautilus. Over the past couple of months I have been going back and forward between the 5712 steel, 5712R and even 5726. I think that I have it narrowed down to those 3. As you all know, finding a nautilus my AD has is not easy and my AD has them on order. Maybe next week I will see the light and finally be able to try them on before pulling the trigger. Speaking with my AD, I remember almost a year and a half ago that I was obsessed with the IWC portuguese Perpetual Calendar IW502307Description of the watch: IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar Watches. 44.2 mm 18K white gold case, sapphire-glass back, ardoise dial, pellaton automatic winding calibre 51613 movement with power reserve display, perpetual calendar with displays for the date, day, month, year in four digits and perpetual moon phase, small hacking seconds, Glucydur?* beryllium alloy balance with high-precision adjustment cam on balance arms, B
My Panerai journey in a year...
So my obsessions with Panerai began in 2017 (late comer.. I know) I got interested in Panerai last year when I walked into a an AD and checked out the various panerai collections. Did my newb research and decided my first Panerai would be the 560. (Not the sandwich one) Then got the 564 because i wanted to see the seconds hand moving on the dial. Then proceeded with the 1305 because i wanted something more casual and something I take to go swimming in. As the year progressed and I read more about Panerai and what makes them special, the 564 started to look too smilar to the 560 and I sold it (at a loss of course, but expected to fund for a Rolex BLNR (2015 year 2nd hand). It wasn't long before i was looking for a Panerai GMT watch and the 1320 caught my eye. Took the plunge and got the 1320. Few months later... the more I looked at the 233, the more i realized that would be my Grail Panerai watch. I kept holding back from getting the 233 because the 1320 was already a GMT... but t
