First time AP buyer looking for ROC 39mm in silver
Hi Guys,After deciding a bunch of options, my heart is set on ROC 39mm in silver/white. Will most likely buy pre-owned. My budget is around $10K. A few questions for experts out there?- Is $10K realistic?- What are the best places to buy pre-owned? I have been checking Chrono24, but most of listings there are overseas. That could be an option, especially when you get 20% VAT back from Europe, but a US store would be preferable- Any do's and dont's? Things I should watch out for?Thanks,-L

First Omega, First Post
After lurking for too long, I am posting for the first time. With the help of Kringkily, I acquired a Speedmaster Pro which is my first Omega. So far I only have one picture, taken with my cell phone (sorry about the quality).Thank you all for your wealth of knowledge of watches and your entertaining banter! Thanks George for all of your help...
Brand new Patek 5980/1AR that was not winding.

A beautiful shade of blue, and a stunning watch.I tried to wind it, and it would not work. My friend was quite embarrassed at having a piece in the store of that category in that price range that had such an issue. They got in the guy that had the expertise with PP, and he said we need to send it back to get it checked. As much as I love the brand, appreciate their history, and also own a 5711, I can't help but feel because of these things that have been happening much more often than in the past, that I am being forced to look else where when I am going to purchase my first complicated dress watch.I know it doesn't happen often, but I feel like it is being more frequent than in the past.I didnt make this thread in means to disrespect the
