Apple Watch Hermes With New Straps & Dials
Apple has announced today one new luxury version of the Apple Watch known as the Apple Watch Hermes. This version of the Apple Watch comes in the polished steel case both with Hermes leather straps, as well as some special watch dials that match the Hermes aesthetic. There are a ton of Apple Watch Hermes options, and they are mostly priced just over the Apple Watch with the steel bracelet. Hermes lovers also get a series of strap choices as well as colors - and new Hermes-themed Apple Watch dials.Hermes, of course, produces their own watches, but they are also a known supplier of very good watch straps to a range of other brands, such as Parmigiani. Hermes leather is among the finest in the industry, with some people saying that it even beats leather from other luxury houses such as Louis Vuitton. The distinctive honey-colored Hermes leather many people are familiar with will now be a part of the Apple Watch family. The Hermes straps for the Apple Watch will be segmented into two versio
De Bethune DBS Tourbillon Watch For 2015
Baselworld 2015 sees the release of the De Bethune DBS Tourbillon, a futuristic homage to the brand's recent past. The De Bethune DBS Tourbillon's raison d'etre is to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the De Bethune DBS, and to simultaneously showcase how far this ambitious company has come in the last decade. Founded in 2002, the manufacture has created a recognizable brand aesthetic that counts distinctive size, astute visual consistency, and surprisingly unusual color schemes amongst its most eye-catching traits. By adding a tourbillon to the De Bethune DBS model, De Bethune is updating one of its more iconic pieces for their avid fans. At 6 o'clock on the dial, the high-frequency tourbillon beats away at 36,000 vph. Such an operating speed is made possible by the weight (or lack thereof) of the 63 components that are used in the tourbillon's construction. The whole complication comes in at a mind-boggling 0.18 grams. The lightest component weighs less than 0.0001 g and the heavi
INCOMING: 5712/1A + Thoughts on 5712 vs 5711
After a lot of effort and some luck, I received my new 5712/1A from my AD today!!!I had been going back and forth between getting a 5711 or a 5712 (both in steel/blue dial), but went for the 5712 after agonizing over this decision for a long time.By way of background, I have a good friend who already has a 5711 in steel and I would constantly bother him to try it on, inspect it, or just stare at him wearing it to get a feel for it in every light condition. In the end, my thoughts were that it is a gorgeous watch and sublime, but in indoor lighting it takes on a vintage look that I wasn't crazy about. In short, it needed the dial to be alive reflecting light to be in its full glory. Today, after wearing my 5712 for several hours and looking at in in a number of lighting conditions, a few things stuck out to me that I wasn't expecting. First, I actually PREFER the 5712 dial in outdoor lighting because although there is less open space on the dial for the light to play versus the 5711, th
Legit 510?
Hello everyone, Last week I've asked on this forum about my choices for my first Panerai. I appreciate everyone's feedback on that. I've narrowed down to a PAM 510. The dealer (whom I've never met yet) has been very informative about the timepiece. They're a very reputable shop in Hong Kong but I just wanted to ask the savvy community here just in case. Based on the photos, do you think this piece is legit?Sorry for the photos they did not remove the vinyl when taking the pics *The previous owner was a lady thus she wore it on the pink strap. Both straps are brand new.
PAM 001 Possibly about to buy. any help to verify?
I am about to purchase a PAM 001 D-2001 privately and the seller has no box or papers(which I know is a big red flag) but I am trying to get the advantage of that reflected in the price. Please provide input if the watch is legit or anything glaringly obvious that its a replica.I have taken off the caseback and shown pictures. Some are indoors and some are outdoors. 1. Yes band is in crappy condition2. K 12/08 incribed on interior of caseback--possibly last service date?THANKS IN ADVANCE !!
