Rubber strap or steel? PO query
I am looking at a new watch, either Omega or Rolex.Q is it better value for money to get the steel strap 8500 PO, or the rubber? The watch costs the same, so curious if its a better deal to buy the watch with a steel strap and buy a rubber one for swapping, or the other way around? Also how easy is it to swap them around? Thanks

If you really want it, there you go, just 3 times the retail. Luxe are proper dealers as well.https://.luxewatches.co.uk/shop/p...ref-5522a-001/
Nautilus Strap Conversion Kit
The question has been asked many a time and oft and the answer is always negative, but I'm just sitting here looking at my 5711 and I just can't understand why some budding entrepreneur hasn't created a conversion kit for bracelet-to-strap conversions for the Nautilus. The bracelet, including the end-link is attached by pins to the case. Surely all it would take is the fashioning of an aftermarket end link to fill that gap and with another hole through it to allow a strap to be secured to it, in the same way people make after-market plot links for AP's. I'm not suggesting for a second its something I could do, but there are so many people out there that could, I'm surprised someone hasn't given it a bash. They've managed for Audemars, Rolex, etc. it's not like the Nautilus hasn't been around a while...It's not like your typical Patek owner is strapped for cash so I'd think the producer of a decent kit could charge like the proverbial rhino.Just a thought...
Do we love to hate INCOMINGS?
So... after debating and deciding... I pulled the trigger. The wife was on board, so thats always a good sign.
Like New Datejust 41 w/ Roman Dial - Good Price?
Hello, I just recently joined the forum, but have been lurking for a little while and I am looking at making my first Rolex purchase. My local Rolex Dealer has a Datejust 41 w/ Roman Dial, White Gold Fluted Bezel and oyster bracelet for $7,500. They are selling it as used due to the fact that someone purchased and registered it and later brought it back and the warranty is not transferable. Still has factory stickers, box, papers etc. Not sure on the serial number, but store manager says its a 2017 model. I honestly just have not idea what is considered a good buy, or if this is overpriced. I am very new to Rolex, I have a Tudor Pelagos, and Omega Speedmaster currently, but would like to add to my collection. I am looking for advice in regards to price and some general direction. Thanks in advance, I look forward to hearing ya'lls great advice.
