MKII Vantage for Epaulet
I'll start this post with a disclaimer: by the time I had a chance to write about the watch that inspired this post, it was sold out. I decided it was worth writing about anyway, since it is a beautiful watch by an interesting brand, being sold at a fantastic store. That watch, of course, is the MKII Vantage for Epaulet. The now discontinued and sold out MKII Vantage is an homage to the timeless Rolex Explorer. There is a fairly thorough history of the Rolex here, but to briefly summarize the Explorer was designed to commemorate the Everest expedition by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay in 1953. Diver on AP catalogue
The black and silver dial are No longer to be seen on the website and app catalogues. Only the funky colors are remaining and those are limited in production. Are we gonna see new colors being released? Or are we seeing a discontinuation of the line?Any insider information?

Tried on Galactic 41
I was near the Breitling dealer and had some time to kill, so I went in. I tried on the Galactic 41 with grey dial and I have to say what an amazing watch! It's the perfect size and has a no nonsense dial. Who here has the Galactic 41?

Omega SeaMaster 300M Diver Commander's Watch
Although I understand its not everyone's cup of tea, I have to admit that the Omega SeaMaster 300M Diver Commander's Watch is very beautiful in real life (at least in my opinion).I have had mine for a week and very pleased with it.Here are a couple of pics, on original and Black/Grey NATO straps.What do you think ?John
