The Watch I Wore The Most In 2015, By Every Single Member Of The HODINKEE Team
We've reported on hundreds, if not thousands, of watches over the past year – from the new releases at SIHH and Baselworld to rare vintage finds and expansive personal collections – but now it's time to find out what we, your HODINKEE writers, editors, and contributors, wore the most in 2015. Now in its third iteration (see 2013 here and 2014 here), this annual feature has quickly become a fan favorite – and as the HODINKEE team has grown significantly this year, it only gets bigger and better this time around. So, with 2016 just around the corner, we give you "The Watch I Wore Most In 2015, By Every Single Member Of The HODINKEE Team." Enjoy. AP ROO Date wheel font
I have been a Rolex, PAM, Omega, Chopard owner with a collection of 6 different watches, I think now is the right time for me to get the long awaited AP first step is to identify which Off shore model to chase (needs a lot of studying) looking at several photos in the forum I noticed that there are 2 different fonts for the date within the offshore! I personally like 1 of them but need to understand have they changed the font on newer models or it is just kind of random? Thanks Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
In NYC for the day wearing RO 15300!!!
Had to come to my old home town and favorite city in the world for business today. I was right next to Ground Zero. Very sad memories but nice to see the buildings rising up in memory of those who lost their lives. Couldn't go to the AP boutique but at least stopped by one of my favorite restaurants, the Peking Duckhouse. Wish I could've stayed the night!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk. On the verge of splurging on a Speedy Pro ("Moon Watch")
Hello everyone,I'm new to these forums. Been reading from the outside in for about 2 weeks now (but very extensively) as I look to buy my first luxury wristwatch. It's a pretty exciting phase for me at the moment, graduating university in a few months with a full time contract in place for work, and now that I'm entering the business world I really want to look my best - so I decided to look into watches. Somehow I've become extremely fascinated in them with just ~20 hours of research and learning put into the subject.I've narrowed down my options to two models of the Omega Speedy Pro. They are 1) The typical NASA Approved 3570.50 or 2) 3573.50. I will also be getting an authentic Omega leather band with whichever one I end up purchasing, so that I can have both steel bracelet and leather strap to choose from. From what I understand, they are identical except that the 3573.50 has a sapphire crystal cover and bottom (which is transparent), meanwhile the 3570.50 has a Hesalite crystal on
