how reliable is forged carbon?
hi guys:i need your inputs, I've heard that forged carbon is not as reliable as SS and will faded and scratch easily, but of course it'll hide some marks. most importantly, it's can't be fixed.is this true? what would you pick between 44mm SS or 44mm FC?thank you so much for your help and i know there are many threads cover this topic already.

Some Omega Basel 2014 news
I spoke with my dealer this afternoon and he said Omega would implement the 15,000 gauss treatment across the board for the AT line for an additional $1k.He also said we should not expect this to be the only price increase.Also, he does not generally offer display items for sale other than at his store. (He only ships factory fresh.) But he is sending me a list of what he has in his case with special pricing.He also informed me that he now has access to most every watch brand including R***x.And to think, he had me believing he was ready to retire at age 81.

Kinda Personal- Affordable Vs Struggle To Obtain
This may be way way too personal for some of our members and doesn't really apply to some since their collections speak for themselves. But, being that the majority of us here are generally just watch lovers and admire Patek pieces, I'm curious as to how many fit into my category when it comes to affordability vs just flat out I'm gonna do what I have to so that I can acquire x Patek?Without getting too personal how do you fit in the $25k+ ownership? I'm far from a good writer so hope this comes across as I intend it to. PAM 535 Performs Well
The last time I brought a PAM on a business trip, it stopped mid way thru. I wore it for days, not working. It hurt. But I love PAM's. Great looking watches that no one seems to have.
