The Watch vs the Car
I saw a post on here that raised an interesting perspective. Luxury watches vs a luxury car. As men we all tend to like or desire luxury items such as cars and watches to say the least. I wanted ask the question of which item is the better VALUE? Notice I did not say better price. I am looking to see if someone can express or quantify the long term difference between the two Luxury items. My 2 examples:1st A pre owned AP Carbon may cost between $19k to $33k. In 10years of average wear and servicing it will be worth how much? 2nd A pre owned Porsche 911 may cost between $45k to 75k. In 10years of average wear and servicing it will be worth how much? I hope I explain my questions to you guys thoroughly. I am in the process of buying a car and I would like to buy my first AP by the holiday time. I am thinking of buying a Porsche but I think long term the AP is a better value.Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

The wait is on!
Incoming next week... now the wait... and a not so subtle hint:My first Speedy... well technically second. Tried out a reduced this week and it was too small even for my 6.5 wrist. I've gotten used to a little larger watches like my Sub C and a 38mm sports watch just didn't look right. Nothing against the reduced though, it was beautiful and makes me crave my 42mm Pro even more now... ahhh the wait.... maybe someone would like to post a gratuitous picture of theirs to soften the wait? Thanks guys!
Daytona on oysterflex
I was shopping around for my son that's seven weeks out of being born and of course i told my wife let's swing by the Rolex store and once we got to the store i spotted the yellow gold oysterflex Daytona. She immediately gave me the death stare as I tried it on and my goodness this watch is a beauty!! Blew my expectations away. The weight was amazing and the oysterflex is so comfy. I was extremely close of pulling the trigger but my wife's stare was well more than enough to tell me NO lol. This piece will soon be in my collection just need to warm the wife up to the idea haha.
