Review: Stowa Seatime Prodiver
The Stowa Seatime Prodiver is a watch that lives up to its name. True to its brand lineage, the Prodiver hits all the marks for quality that you'd expect from a watch produced by an 85 year old company. It also has the capability to withstand far more than your average dive enthusiast can throw at it.? But does all this history and sport prowess make for a watch worth owning? Rolex 16610 Sapphire Cracked on Watch 23rd Birthday 😞
This morning I wore my 23 yr old 16610 (S serial, purchased new on january 1995) on for work and after a couple of hours noticed it had stopped. It was last serviced about 10 years ago, so said to myself time to take it for service! I took it off and accidentally dropped it on the edge of my vault and cracked the sapphire. Cyclop is no where to be found! Immediately pulled the crown and am already coordinating to send it to Rik Dietel for servicing, know it will come back looking like new again! This morning WRUW picture:Current condition:
16710 originality
Being offered this watch and considering it as a beater to complement my 16750 matte when I want a water proof/etc watch. It is a W serial, it has papers. I know the dial is not original. Appears to be a Swiss Made service dial. Is the bezel correct for the watch? Have not seen the stamping on bracelet yet. Im thinking of offering $5000-5500 knowing the issues. Am I low or high? Dealer took this in against a new watch. Thanks guys!
