Porsche Design Group Ends Watch Production Relationship With Eterna
Interesting news today as Porsche Design and Eterna have announced that they have terminated their watch making relationship. For years Porsche Design (designed) watches were produced by the Swiss watch maker Eterna, located in Grenchen, Switzerland. As of March 10th, 2014, the two companies have announced the termination of their license agreement to develop, produce, and sell Porsche Design branded timepieces.Sadly, I did see this coming. Porsche Design has aligned itself with some interesting watch companies over the years including, most notably, IWC. Their run with Eterna helped them to produce some of the highest quality, most interesting Porsche Design watches since the company's beginning in 1972. It seemed like Eterna was an excellent and long lasting partner. Eterna had its own problems though, and while very interesting, Eterna brand timepieces were not doing as well as they could have been.In a sense, Eterna watches were plagued by being too focused on interesting movements

Bracelet for Seamaster 300 2265.80
Hello Everyone - The first watch I ever purchased was a 2265.80 and I wore the heck out of it. After upgrading to a Planet Ocean, my AD offered to buff the scratches out of the clasp on the 2265.80. After about 15 minutes in the back room, he hands me my watch and it is completely polished. Took away the nice brushed finish and while many people say it looks great, I'm a purist and can't stand to wear it anymore. I don't like the polished look on this particular watch.I complained and got a great deal on a new Tag, but I'd like to get the bracelet either refinished from Omega or purchase a new one to make this look like new. Does anyone know what model number the bracelet is, or where I could find one online? Hi guys,on the verge to pull the trigger. available at my boutique for a reasonable price. planning on pairing it with the 5980. i figure i won't go into their dress watches and these two might be the only Pateks i will own (yeah right!>). i don't want to buy grey market because i tend to flip watches that is not under my name.i was told the collectibility of this piece in the future is highly probable and might be discontinued after some time.i'm aware that this watch is an aquanaut and below the nautilus line but with the complication do you guys think it's worthy to be compared with its more respectable brother?please encourage me and show me those TRAVEL TIMES!
