Hands-On: The Moser Perpetual Calendar Concept Limited Edition In Steel (Live Pics, Pricing)
I often think about what type of watch I would wear if limited to only modern watches, and only independently-held manufactures (isn't that how we all spend our nights?). A watch I saw at Baselworld 2016 may have answered the question, or at least put a new one in the running.H. Moser continues to produce excellent and innovative timepieces for collectors that do not, necessarily, get the recognition they deserve. The landmark piece from Moser is certainly the Endeavour perpetual calendar, which we reviewed here, but they've long been experimenting with making the already simple perpetual calendar ever more simple with the concept watches seen here. The Concept Perpetual calendar removes all branding from the dial side, as well as the sub-seconds and power-reserve indicator. At Baselworld this year, they showed us an even more pared-down version of this thoughtful perpetual, now in a limited edition in stainless steel. 1 OF 3 The case back of the Moser displays a leap year
Swag
Let's see the AP swag...
Will the stiff 15202 bracelet rest on wrists after removing links?(small wrists)
Looking to see from guys whose wrists are on the smaller side that own a jumbo. We all know how stiff the bracelet is, and I have 6 wrists. The AP representative is pretty confident that after links are removed the watch will rest very nicely as the 39mm size is perfect for smaller wrists, however I don't want to buy it only to then see that it's the wrong fit.Ofcourse I can't ask him to remove the links prior to purchase.I wear a rolex sub and love the way it looks on my wrists. The 37mm 15450 is too small for my taste, and also dressier.Would like to see from guys who own the 15202.Thank you guys
5740 or 5270?
Granted they are very different type of grand complications, and have very different MSRP. Assume you have cash for only one of these two, which one will you buy?The 5740/1G,5740G.pngOr 5270P5270P.png
