Did you know that literally every single A. Lange & Söhne timepiece is unique? It's true, and that is because each timepiece that comes out of the Glashütte manufacture features one component (at minimum) that is hand engraved – the balance-cock. 1 OF 4 The engraving of the balance-cock dates back to the early 20th century when Lange was buiding superlative quality "1A" pocketwatches. When the brand relaunched in the early 90s, it just made sense to continue on with one of Lange's greatest traditions. Hello,I previously had 2 AP's and looking to get the new 39mm AP ROO 15202 extra thin 40th anni.I bought a GMT 2nd hand online and shipped it sans insurance, considering to get an AP which is another league price wise and I dont intend risking it with no insurance.Can anyone help me with this, how its done ?Anyone know where I can get that 39mm Jumbo ?

Decided to brush the PCL's on BLNR (pics inside)
And couldn't be happier with the results. Opinions are divided on PCL's, but I'm much more of a fan of the brushed look. It cost just $50 from a professional, so well worth the money to me. It would certainly lower the resale value, but I don't plan on ever parting with this one.Just thought I'd post a few pictures if anyone is considering doing the same thing.
