Breitling virgin
Hi guys.Have decided to treat myself and invest in a Breitling. Have been looking online for a while and decided on a Chronomat 44. Here in Oz the going rate seems to be around $12-$14k, whereas on chrono24 I've seen them listed around the $9kAUD. I know I'm up for import duty(GST) but still works out wau cheaper than buying it here. My question is am I asking for trouble buying off chrono24 etc? See link of the particular watch im interested
Sales person invited to tour PP factory
I visited my local AD yesterday to enquire about the 5320. The young sales person was very friendly and we got chatting. Mentioned that she's still learning about Patek and has only been in the watch industry for about a year. And then she casually mentioned that she's going to Geneva shortly to tour Patek's factory. So I replied that she must be a high-performer since it's a real privilege. She responded that because she speaks Chinese she's been selected along with a few clients. In my experience, most sales are Chinese these days, so it's not a unique attribute.Question: is it common for young sales ppl and clients to tour Patek's factory? Is it something that all sales ppl do as part of their training? Does this extend to other brands?Note:They have not received any 5320G yet but the first one is due in Sep. There's interest (expected) but I will see it when it comes in.5711/1A - 4/5 yr waitlistSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Time to Buy..Either a Sub No or Explorer I & a Tubor BB
Hi all ..getting ready to pull the trigger on my first big watch purchase. Like many of you I gone back and forth and back and forth and.....on what watch to buy.My choices have narrowed down to two...Either the 1. Sub No Date 2. Explorer I and a Tudor BB with the Black BezelJust spoke with my local AD and they have both the SUB No date and Explorer I in stock.I work in an office all day so would an Explorer I be a better daily office watch and then have the Tudor BB as my weekend/vacation/travel watch. Or should I just go with the Iconic Submariner. For the price of the Sub I can pretty much get the Explorer I and the Tudor BB for a few extra dollars.Thank you all in advance for your feedback.
