Thoughts on Jules Audemars Classic Chrono
Just wondering what people think of this watch and movement? I've been offered 50% off retail on a used one...I wish I could see the movement like on the or 5170. Of course those are considerably more expensive...
Can Not Get These Screws Out
I bought an AP diver strap to put on my ROO Panda. The problem im having is i can not get these screws off to take the bracelet off. I feel like im going to strip the head of the screws. Any ideas would greatly be appreciated..
Welcome to the club!
I have been an AP admirer for quite some time and in fact tried on my first which so happens was a ROO about 7 years ago. I thought to my self, self... One day you should get one of these!I was thinking seriously of late about adding an AP Safari as I have loved the look with the brown horn back strap but my slight hesitation was the lack of lume making it a bit of a turnoff but still... 5270 Daily wear?
Hi all,Simple question really. Does anyone know how a watch like a 5270 holds up to daily wear?I'm not talking about scratching the case, more how the movement etc holds up to constant use?I'm looking to buy a GMT BLNR. One of the reasons is from everything I've read and the conversations I've had it seems that these watches can be worn for years, they sound fairly bulletproof. How does something like a 5270 compare to this? It costs more than ten times as much and is from one of the best names out there, but are they too delicate for more than occasional wear? Could you wear it day in day out for a lifetime?I would love to hear your thoughts. J
