Vacheron Constantin Launches New Watches in Hong Kong
Vacheron Constantin launched several new watches, including an ultra-complicated piece with astronomical displays, at the recent Hong Kong Watches and Wonders fair. Three new Patrimony models also debuted. Here are six new Vacheron Constantin watches that caught our eye.Ma?tre Cabinotier AstronomicaThe Ma?tre Cabinotier Astronomica is the star among the new Vacheron models launched at the Hong Kong Watches & Wonders show. This unique piece brings together 15 haute horlogerie complications, including several of the astronomical variety, that are displayed on the back of this two-sided timepiece. The Astronomica's caliber 2755-B1 movement is one of the most complex ever created by Vacheron Constantin. The manual-wind movement consists of 839 parts, all contained in a space measuring only 33.9 mm in diameter and 12.15 mm thick. The case housing all of these displays measures 47 mm x 19 mm.In addition to the time of day, the front displays include equation of time; perpetual calendar
Man plans, God laughs
My AD called me to say he had something special for me...Now not going to lie; it wouldn't be the first Nautilus to come to my mind, but definitely grew on me. And love it! Plus I got a nice discount as well NEVER in my life would I think I'd ever purchase a two toned watch!!
Follow up to 40th anniversary
Just got a call from AD they have a 40th anniversary 5711 in stock. Have these appreciated in value or was there not enough interest because of the tombstone dial?
PP 3468 dial
Hi all,I've found a PP that I'd really like to buy from a private party but the one question I have is about the dial. Almost every image I can find of the 3468 has double stick markers on the quarters, however, I see some that do not have the double markers. From the low quality/light picture I've seen, this watch does not seem to have the double markers and I can't see enough to pick up the SWISS at the bottom. Of course, I'll be inspecting the watch in person prior to transacting but any thoughts/info on the markers? All manual wind Pateks from this era (1960s) should have SWISS on the dial right?
Sky dweller 326934 wristshots!
Hello all would love to see some wristshots of this watch! Its hard to tell in pics ive seen if the blue dial is a light sky blue almost turquoise or a nice dark midnight blue?
