The new Hamilton Khaki X-Wind Limited Edition includes two main features that can be especially helpful in flight: a chronograph function, of course, and something a bit more esoteric: a drift angle calculator. At first glance, the watch has a particularly industrial look due to the multi-level dial with two-tone brushed metal detailing. Vintage Speedmaster
Hunting around today I was in a little shop and found this one. Never seen one with this big a case. Guys says it's one of the first Speedmaster's with a chrono complication. One of only a few thousand made. I was surprised at how thick and heavy the case was. A real beast. Pics not the best but anyone know more about this one? Any info would be of interest.

New-Old Find
Yesterday I found a 14K mechanical wind Omega that I have had since about 1972. It was a gift to me from my Grandmother when she returned from a trip to Europe and Switzerland...it will need a major overhaul and some new parts so any information on who to send it to to do the work would be appreciated. Of course I want original pieces as the the crown is broken and will need to be replaced and then the watch thoroughly checked over. I will post some pictures later today but I am excited about the 'Find' as this is the second wrist watch I have found this year!!!Take it easy......Leo

Will it affect my Panerai to wind it with the lever closed?
Is there something negative to wind up the watch with the lever closed? Wears the crown at the top? Wear it on the lock stock roll?Will it affect the water tightness by tearing the gasket with the crown in the depressed position when I wind it?
