Giveaway: Reactor Gamma Titanium Watch
A great watch that you might miss hearing about is the Reactor Gamma. Probably the strongest piece in the American brand's collection, the Gamma is now available in full titanium with the brand's Never Dark (ND) technology. At 45.5mm wide, the case wears comfortably and is 50% lighter than its steel counterpart. It is available with a black or red dial, that has traditional luminant as well as tritium gas tubes on the dial (which is the ND tech).Inside the watch is a Japanese quartz movement with a 10 year battery. The unique styling of the watch is hard to miss, with a design that does in fact grow on you rather quickly. Durable, the Gamma Ti is water resistant to 300 meters, and is easy to read thanks for a healthy amount of AR coating on the mineral crystal. Retail price is $550 on the titanium bracelet, and $525 on a rubber strap. If you win the giveaway, you can choose what Reactor Gamma Ti model you'd like. Guidance on a pre-owned Aquanaut
Have the opportunity to acquire a 2011 Aquanaut, model 5167 18-001, the so called jumbo. Pic below, not mine but I believe this photo is the model. Tried it on at AD, great condition, watch has had a Patek servicing, comes with original owner papers, highly reputable dealer in NJ, so I'm confident in the transaction. Price is just under $15k. Good deal?
Flaw Tolerance
Hi guys,I'm looking to find out what is considered Acceptable when bringing a watch in for Warranty. I recently purchased my 116710LN from Hong Kong and my fellow RSC Canadians here at Rolex Head Office Toronto have done a very good job with my watches. (As you can see with my macro shots of bracelet resizing and lug work) However, I still have another concern. My lug at 5:00 had excess metal (0.1-0.5mm) that can be seen under certain light. (Check out the inner lower right lug):https://imgur/KVRaf8DToday, I brought it to them to see what's up, and within 20 minutes, the polished the excess metal off. I was very surprised when I took out my OCD Glasses and took a look at it. The excess metal were taken off flawlessly. https://imgur/41D9QJMMy concern now is that upon further inspection, I see that the inside of the lug (where the Solid Endlinks Meet the Lug) has a micro chip, probably related to the excess metal at the 5:00 lug. It can really be seen when the solid endlinks are pushed do
