Pita Barcelona Carousel Watch Available On James List
The full line of Spanish Pita Barcelona watches are now available on James List. This includes the fascinating and highly character rich Pita Carousel. At first glace the watch is certainly unique, but you might not fully understand this bespoke creation. Each Pita Carousel watch is totally customizable - and made to order. The watch is 40mm wide? (just 8mm thick) and available in 18k yellow gold, rose gold, or white gold. There is also the option of getting one in 950 platinum. The Carousel watch has its name for good reason. This is because the movement is visible right through the dial and spins around (like a carousel). The movement spins as it tells the time. Thus the movement rotates on its own axis. The watch is known as a 12 hour hand watch. Meaning it has just one hand that moves around the dial once each 12 hours. The hand itself does not move, but rather it is attached to the movement that is what moves.Pita really likes crownless cases, and the Carousel is a good example of
The Tag Heuer Monaco stand is a characteristic front-right without any unnecessary embellishment.
Any if I wear a T-shirt and jeans or a suit of the Monaco shines and crowns of the holding. The size is not that big that would feel heavy. The Monaco is very comfortable to wear. The crocodile features leather strap folding loop steel polished with buttons which can be adjusted very precisely to find the best fit on my wrist - no any loose and not too tight. The clasp is also designed to keep the Monaco on your wrist where the loop opens by accident, never that happened to me yet. Here's a bit of a rare bird...Vintage Seamaster Chronometer
Just got this one back from my watchmaker after a routine overhaul. This is an all original circa 1969 Omega Seamaster Chronometer Automatic with quick set Date with the highly acclaimed cal. 564 Chronometer movement. This watch is considered fairly rare (especially in this condition) due to the fact that the cal. 564 Chronometer was typically only seen in the Omega Constellations of this era. I just love the classic size, golden dial with matching gold applied Omega logo and stick hour markers with the matching gold hands...quite the package I must say. Not only does it look good and wear very comfortably with the original omega bracelet; but it also keeps incredibly accurate time. One of my favorites in my recently slimmed down eight watch rotation.Frank
Incoming, excited about this one
Hey guys, I grabbed this piece about two weeks ago. After some suggestions, I think it is the perfect Patek for me in terms of bridging a casual lifestyle with some dress attributes. I decided I really can't go to a more dress watch at this stage of my life, but this one is a good intermediary. I am very happy with the decision. I played with the new zoom on the iPhone.....my pics always suck anyway.
