what would you pick and why?
hi guys:which of the below Patek would you pick and why?5980/1a57265205 are these Three watches sharing the same base movement?are they in-house made or Patek used someone else's movement and make them better?i tried 5712a, but it looks so small on my wrist.thanks for all your inputs.Alex

What is it about Panerai
That draws you to it?Let me explain what I mean. I never used to like the look of them and Until last week I had never seen one but for some strange reason I've been drawn to them slowly over the past year. Last week I went to Italy and found a small dealer in Verona that had a few Patek's Omega's and a dozen or so Panerai. If I was in a Rolex AD I could name nearly every one immediately but with Panerai I could even name one.However I loved the look of two of them and tried them one. One turned out to be a 590 and the other a 005 (the strap on the 005 was a different one that normally comes with it - when they showed me the original strap I wasn't as keen as the one they had on).The AD wouldn't do a deal on either but eventfully agreed to knock of �300 off the 005 and give me the strap that was one it (retail �320) - on a quick google of Prices it would have been the same as UK prices so I walked away. Firstly I figured I may get a deal at home and secondly was I just buying like bei

too good to pass up?
So, I am killing time in Shreve today waiting for a watch to be pressure tested a few stores over...I'm wearing my 372 and I ask to try on a couple of watches including a PAM 25...the salesman (also sporting a 25) says, hold on, I've got a great deal for you. Knowing Shreve doesn't negotiate I have my doubts...but he walks back with a brand new (though M series) 305 and says that they are offering the watch at 30% off. I was flabbergasted...what do you think? Buy it?

Rolex Fine Bone China
I have a relish dish that has Rolex and the trademark crown on the bottom of it. This dish is white in color and trimmed in what looks to be gold. My question is did Rolex make fine bone china or were they made for promo's. Any info would help, thank you.

Not seen many of these about, but they seem increasingly rare and sought after!Personally, I love the look! VERY different, in a classy way to the S/S GMT... I have owned a Pepsi as well.Opinions about their future... mulling a purchase!Cheers!
