Features of luxurious Corum Admiral's Cup Chronograph 40 Diamonds Watch
A luxurious yet strong sport timepiece as Admiral's Cup chronograph Corum 40 diamonds requires a movement that combines refinement with proven performance. To achieve this double virtue, Corum provides this model with a proven Switzerland ETA automatic winding calibre. Relatively relatively thin yet exceptionally reliable in operation, this movement offers a 42 hour power reserve. More chronograph functions and timing, movement in this watch incorporates a date display that provides an easy way of adjustment through the winding Crown. As the assurance of accuracy of the measurement of time, these movements are subject to an agency of the Office of control timer Switzerland (COSC). Here, each movement must undergo and pass the fifteen days of rigorous tests in various positions and temperatures, finally obtaining the desirable "stopwatch" title only when the specific guidelines for the performance are met.
A post on the timezone alert me on the new watch from Ulysse Nardin
A post on the timezone alert me on the new watch from Ulysse Nardin. TheQuadrato dual time perpetual is an important 42 x 42 mm. The watch displays the date, the day of the week, month and year and has an indicator of time home 24 hours a day.
New AP Diver release
Hey all - Happy Holidays,I'm in the market for an AP Diver in steel. I've been eyeing this piece for a while and went yesterday to try it on. The dealer mentioned that he received a list from AP with a new reference for a diver model supposed to be released soon. He doesn't know when, perhaps at SIHH, or perhaps later. The reference listed was investigated by him and it seems the information he got back mention the new steel diver will have the open case back with a modification in the movement and slightly different seals for the crown and bezel crown.Has anyone got any more detailed information about this or have heard of this rumor before? I'm not sure if the AD was trying to steer me to a different model or was simply being frank. Thanks in advance...
Patek vs. Lange vs. JLC...
Hey PP lovers: Looks like I'm ready for another addition to the stable. Would appreciate some feedback.Quick description of my Pateks - two nautilus (5711 Blue and 5726 White), 5167, and 5205G Black dial.I'm debating between an annual calendar, a perpetual, and a special Lange.1: Patek 5936 WG. This beauty would compliment my 5205 well. A bit more classic, a white dial, and a slightly smaller size. Surprisingly I found the watch to wear somewhat larger than it's stated size as I think the thick bezel and nicely seized lugs of the calatrava case lend it some real pop. Add it a bright white dial and the watch has some real wrist presence. Potential negative: another 324 AC and maybe it's too much.2: JLc Ultra Thin Perpetual WG. Gorgeous dial, beautiful proportions, and slim and very elegant case. Movement finishing is somewhat pedestrian for the price but the watch is incredibly comfortable to wear and I particularly like the black nickel indices. Cheaper than the others too.
UK Panerai price increase
Unfortunately, this is not one of those doom and gloom 'might be a price increase' threads. It has happened. I was just looking at the UK website and saw that the 233 is now ?10,400, my beloved 533 has increased from ?10,800 to ?11,300 and the 311 has gone from ?14,400 to an eye-watering ?15,300. No real surprises given that Richemont increase their prices annually. Montblanc and Cartier have also increased in the UK. However, and quite interestingly, the 533 is the same price out here as what is was when I first started hunting Panerai back in about June 2016 at S$19,150. The UK has had two Panerai price hikes since. Someone talk me through that one
