Watches NEWS
Does this sound right?
Hello all first time poster I hang back in the weeds reading all the good information. I recently purchased a watch for my Dad and had to order it through Omega not a problem was told 4 weeks all good. Fast forward 5 weeks later the Omega rep is telling us now that it will be another 4 weeks but a shipment is coming from the factory in a week. However they can't or won't tell us if the watch is going to be included in the shipment. Huh? I feel like I'm on an island here maybe this is common or I'm just being a jerk customer? If anyone has had any experience like this help me not feel like Omega is putting the screws to me, lol. Thanks this board is amazing great info and great folks. BTW two Omega's in the collection 1966 Connie Pie Pan and a 40th Anniversay Bond watch.
Increase in price of 2531.80 Seamasters?
I have seen these go on average about a thousand or so for the last year. But over the last few months they have been going for 1200-1500 with tons of bids. At Christmas you could get em below a grand on ebay. Why the jump?
i am with you on this one. dunno what the RG Sub will be like
I have an affinity for the Rose Gold, and really like the GMT but have hoped and expressed my love for a RG SubMariner...I would be more of a buyer for the GMT II, and although I could get a pretty decent fit with my previous BLNR, I worry with the extra weight of PM, it may be hard to get the right fit...I'm almost relegated to the Glidelock...Who's Hoping to be the first five to purchase the GMT II and ?
Two have to go! Help decide
Hey guys. So I currently have a 4 watch Rolex collection. Wasn't expecting it to get this crazy so two have to go according to the old ladies orders (and me coming to my senses)Here is what I currently have. Please pay attention to key points for each 14060M (Z serial):This is the only one I have with full kit. It is also in the best shape out of the 4 and completely unpolished5513 (1975):This is a watch I've always loved and wanted. Also has a rare mk2 long 5 insert and came with a pre 63 7206 rivet bracelet (not pictured). No box or papers 16710 (N serial)Just love the patina markers on this. And it's a coke GMT which is badass. Original box but no papers (the dial has some slight signs of bubbling)16570 (L serial BIRTH YEAR)This has no box but original warranty papers. I'd say this would be the first to go but It is my birth and I feel like I'd regret it. Plus the patina is niceSo out of the two! Which would be keepers and which would you let go of! Appreciate all of the help Pleas
Would you Flip SD4K C for 16610 with Engraved Rehaut or 16600 SD4K?
It's not that I don't like my SD4K, just sometimes it feels a little on the heavy side . Overall quite comfortable but the bracelet could be a little more tapered .Is the bracelet on the SD-43 50Th more tapered than the SD4K C ?The 16610 LN with engraved rehaut last of the mighty 5 didgit Subs is growing on me . Even the Previous SD4K 16600 but did it ever come with engraved rehaut? Just toying around with the idea ... What do you guys think ? The glidelock would definitely be missed ...
