Raymond Weil Unveils Special Edition Nabucco Inspired by Gibson Guitars
Earlier this year, Swiss watch manufacturer Raymond Weil and Gibson Brands, an American manufacturer of guitars and other instruments, announced their plans to work together to create a special Nabucco timepiece, specifically inspired by the famous self-tuning Gibson SG Standard guitar. Here’s a look at the watch that resulted. The special-edition Raymond Weil Nabucco timepiece has four key design elements that signify it as a Gibson Special Edition. First, the iconic Gibson logo is located just above the Raymond Weil plaque in the center of the dial, replacing the standard applied 12 o’clock hour marker. The second design element is the six grooves that encircle the edges of the black galvanic dial, symbolizing the strings of a Gibson SG Standard guitar. The third is the Gibson logo incorporated into the custom oscillating weight that is visible through the clear sapphire caseback.? Finally, there are the two prominent screws that attach the Raymond Weil logo, which are sim
Magrette Taniwha Engraved Gold Inlaid Watch
Before you is the latest limited edition watch from New Zealand watch maker Magrette. This is the first look at the now available Magrette Taniwha watch. Hours of hand engraving has gone into the beautiful fully decorated case, which has been taken up a step with gold inlay decoration. It is a long process with many steps to yield the final result. I personally love the Magrette engraved watches. Not only does no other watch company offer watches like this, but the engravings are beautiful. The designs have characters and scenes, with emotions and the high skill of the engraver. If you aren't the type of person who is used to wearing "decorated" things, I suggest trying it out. There is a special feeling of worth you get from it. Living in an industrialized world, we are so devoid of things hand decorated, or even decorated at all. We are used to things being just good enough, or often not even good enough at all. Having some decorated object adorn our outfits is quite the exotic treat
Damaged New watch
I'm at Sam's and they have a new watch and two of the markers came off the dial. Is this a big deal to get repaired?
5960 vs 5170
Paid my AD a visit today and spent sometime comparing various 5960s and the 5170.I must say, at least today the 5960 won out. They had three 5960's there today. The 5960R-011, 5960P-015, and the 5960P-001. For my money the 5960P-015 wins hands down in my book. The grey dial is handsome for sure, but something about the blue dial is just simply gorgeous.
Anyone out there own a worn & Wound nato?
Howdy!Anyone out there have this nato strap from w&w? I️ am quite fond of the sage grey color for my blue pelagos but $50 for a nylon nato seems steep....https://shop.wornandwound/collec...dpt-strap-sageSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
